FAREWELL (22-05-25)

1. INTRODUCTION
EMCEE 1: “Some souls arrive in our lives, quietly shaping our world with their grace.”
A very good morning to one and all gathered here today—
Rev. Fr. Manager, Respected Srs. Sr.Shaila Sr. Jyotsna, loving teachers , dear students, and
especially, the luminous diamond who graces this moment with her presence—Rev. Sr.
Carmen, the Principal of our school.
EMCEE 2: This morning, we are not here simply to say goodbye.
We are here to celebrate two remarkable journeys—journeys marked by unwavering faith,
compassionate service, and quiet strength.
EMCEE 1: Today is a tribute to the person who has not only led with purpose but has loved with
deep intention.
EMCEE 2: Yes, Aradhya. Sr. Carmen has been far more than administrators.
She has been a pillar of prayer, mother in spirit, and mentor of noble character.
EMCEE 1: She has shown us that leadership can be gentle, that discipline can be graceful, and
that love—rooted in God—can transform a community.
EMCEE 2: Her presence in these halls has not just guided us; it has blessed us.
EMCEE 1: Her words have not just taught us; they have comforted us.
EMCEE 2: And her life has not just inspired us; it has touched eternity in the hearts of children.
EMCEE 1: In her honor, we have gathered as one school family—united in gratitude,
admiration, and affection.

EMCEE 2: As we begin this auspicious gathering, we embrace the tradition of lighting the lamp
—a gesture that signifies the dispelling of darkness and the igniting of new beginnings.
EMCEE 1: May this flame guide us with clarity, inspire us with its radiance, and illuminate the
way for wisdom and enlightenment.

EMCEE 2: We now invite Rev. Sr. Carmen, Rev. Fr. Manager, and Respected Srs. Sr. shalia and
Sr. Jyotsna to come forward and grace this moment by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

3. A Special Prayer by a Student


EMCEE 1: To begin this sacred occasion on the most divine note, we now invite __________ to
lead us in a special prayer—a prayer that carries the love, admiration, and gratitude of every
child whose life has been touched by Sr. Carmen.

4. Prayer Dance
EMCEE 1: And now, the language of movement takes center stage. Our students will present a
prayer dance—a visual hymn of grace, gratitude, and deep spiritual reverence.
EMCEE 2: Let every twirl speak of the joy Sr. Carmen has given. Let every hand raised in praise
echo the blessings she has shared.
EMCEE 1: That was indeed a graceful performance…thank you friends
5. Felicitation to Sr. Carmen & Sr. Jyotsna
EMCEE 2: With reverent hearts, we now come to one of the most special moments of this
morning—the felicitation ceremony.
Today, we offer more than gifts. We offer symbols of our deepest respect and love to our dear
Sr. Carmen and Sr. Jyotsna who have guided, protected, and uplifted this institution with
humility and grace.
EMCEE 1: We humbly invite Father Manager and Headmistress Sr. Shaila to step forward and
honor our dear Sr. Carmen and Sr. Jyotsna
EMCEE 2: "A journey marked by grace, dedication, and unwavering commitment—today, we
express our heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Carmen.
EMCEE 1: I invite Fr. Manager to kindly honor her with a token of appreciation, and a shawl as a
gesture of our deep respect and admiration.
EMCEE 2: Furthermore, we request Sr. Shaila to present a special gift. Thoughtfully chosen, to
celebrate the impact Sr. Carmen has had on us all.
EMCEE 1: And what better way to symbolize growth and continuity than with a sapling? Sr.
Jyotsna will present this token, representing the roots Sr. Carmen has nurtured and the legacy
that will continue to flourish.
Emcee 2: As we bid farewell to Sr. Jyotsna as well, we honor her dedication and the imprint she
leaves in our hearts. To mark this moment, I request Fr. Manager to present a memento—an
everlasting symbol of our appreciation for her contributions.
EMCEE 1: We implore Sr. Carmen to bestow upon her a shawl, embracing her with warmth and
gratitude for all she has done.

and kindness that Sr. Jyotsna has sown, which will continue to grow and inspire us."
6. Tribute to Sr. Carmen by Class 12 A

of Class 12 A —a group who has had the privilege of learning under Sr. Carmen’s wise and
watchful care.

who has found strength under Sr. Carmen’s guidance.

7. Peppy Dance by Primary
EMCEE 2: To lighten the mood and bring some joyful energy to the stage, our little stars from
the Primary Section are all set to steal your hearts!
EMCEE 1: With their tiny feet, sparkling smiles, and endless enthusiasm, they’re here to spread
cheer and remind us of the pure, innocent joy that only children can bring.
EMCEE 2: So sit back, clap along, and enjoy this Peppy Dance performance by our adorable
Primary students! Let the beats begin!

8. Speech by Sr. Carmen
EMCEE 1: Now, we invite to the stage, a woman of extraordinary grace—our dear Sr. Carmen. A
Principal, a spiritual guide, and a mother to all.
EMCEE 2: Her silent strength, her boundless patience, and her vision have shaped our school in
profound ways. Sister, please bless us with your thoughts.
EMCEE 1: (after the speech):
Thank you, Sister. Your words were filled with the same calm and clarity that we have always
admired in you. They will echo in these halls for years to come.
9. Farewell Dance Mash-up
EMCEE 2: Let us now shift to joy—because farewells, though emotional, are also celebrations of
love, legacy, and the beautiful memories we carry forward.
EMCEE 1: Our students now present a Farewell Dance Mash-up—a vibrant and expressive
performance that blends rhythm, emotion, and heartfelt gratitude. It is their way of saying
thank you to Sr. Carmen through the universal language of dance.

Please welcome our talented students as they perform the Farewell Dance Mash-up—a
celebration of spirit, service, and sisterhood!

10. Speech by Father Manager
EMCEE 2: And now, we invite a man of wisdom and humility, whose gentle leadership and
steadfast faith have deeply enriched our school—Father Manager.
EMCEE 1: A spiritual shepherd, a quiet visionary. Father, we are honored to welcome you to
share your words on this special occasion.
EMCEE 2: (after the speech):
Thank you, Father, for your heartfelt words. Your reflection reminded us of the divine in daily
service—and of the immense gift both Sisters have been to us.
11. Vote of thanks
EMCEE 1: Every successful event is the result of countless hours of planning, dedication, and
heartfelt contributions from many hands and hearts. Today’s farewell program has been no
exception.

the Vote of Thanks — an expression of appreciation

Now, we invite all the class prefects as the representatives of their whole class to express
their love and respect to Sr. Carmen

12. Plantation Ceremony by Sr. Carmen


EMCEE 2: And now, a beautiful and symbolic moment—the plantation ceremony.
Just as Sr. Carmen and Sr. Jyotsna have planted values in our lives, they will now plant saplings
as a mark of legacy and life.
EMCEE 1: We invite Sisters to proceed to the right side of the Senior Group Stage, where this
living tribute will take root.
