INTRODUCTION

Management had provided rural innovation project to students, which

knowledge around the development executed by the government. The main motive of this
project is to improve quality of life and economic well-being of people in rural areas. We the
students had wholesome responsibility to create awareness and to educate them about the
government schemes undertaken.

Rural innovation project is based on the survey of people within rural areas
to check whether they are aware about the schemes undertaken by the central government
regarding the microfinance, available banking product and services and rural development
schemes. Social security benefits prefer to the people who are at financial requirement which
consist of accidental insurance schemes and labour welfare schemes.

This research was also depended on the people who are receptive about the
digital banking, banking services provided, online shopping and technological development
implemented in agriculture. It includes every individual’s opinion particularly in rural areas
about the government undertaken schemes and policies. Moreover, it also examines the
statistical data about the people in the rural areas. The objective of this project is to examine
whether the people in rural areas benefited by the schemes and technologies provided by the
governmen

1
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

The objective of the project is to enhance the areas that are lagging behind the overall
development of the rural economy. The strategy that tries to obtain an improved productivity and
stability in social and economic development are:

1. To increase human resources development in rural area in which rural economy involves
not only in agriculture but all human, social, natural and material resources.
2. To motivate saving and investment among the rural people in which banks playa a crucial
role in rural capital formation. The role of the bank in rural development is manifold.
3. To create awareness about digital banking and rural people. The government initiatives as
well as banks (private or public) efforts in implementing digital services.
4. To alleviate rural poverty can be achieved by identifying income generating activities on
micro finance for socio-economic development.
5. To provide beneficial schemes especially for the development of rural people, the central
government has established: PMJDY, NRLM, PMKVY, MGNREGA, PMAY, PM-JAY,
NOAPS, NWPS, NFBS and so on.
6. To provide social security to people, the government had introduced the labour welfare
fund act. Labour welfare schemes are an aid in the form of money or necessities for those
in need.
7. To impart knowledge between the farmers to adopt modern technology. Modern
agriculture technology hopes to achieve two important goals- profitable economy and
better output.
