★ Overall Note: I suggest crocheting the pieces of this pattern in the order they

Materials
★ The specific yarn I used for this pattern is Premier Parfait Chunky (size 6
chenille). Feel free to use any yarn you’d like, but just note the final
dimensions will come out slightly different. Here are the exact colors I used:
       ○ 1 skein of Premier Parfait Chunky in the color Peacock [Color #1] for
           the main body color
       ○ ¼ skein of Premier Parfait Chunky in the color White [Color #2] for
           the toes
       ○ ¼ skein of Premier Parfait Chunky in the color Key Lime [Color #3] for
           the large spikes (optional)
       ○ ¼ skein of Premier Parfait Chunky in the color Mint [Color #4] for the
           small spikes (optional)
  ★ Two 25mm safety eyes/sinker eyes
  ★ Polyester fiberfill
  ★ Stitch markers
  ★ 5mm hook
  ★ Yarn needle (for closing)
★ Finished dino measurements using a 5mm hook and Premier Parfait Chunky
are 9” long by 9” tall (from foot to spike) by 4” wide.
                                                                              Page 2

HEAD
 ★ In Peacock [Color #1]
 ★ R1: 6 SC in a MR (6)

            apart.
 ★ R17: [2 SC, DEC] x 6 (18)

                                                                   @crochetbygenna

 ★ R3: [2 SC, INC] x 2 (8)
★ Do not stuff spikes. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Set aside for
   now!
ASSEMBLY
★ HEAD: Grab the head and place it on top of the body.
Ensure the head is centered with each arm and sew to
   the body to secure.
★ LEGS: The legs should be aligned directly under the
arms. Align the top of the legs between R10 and R11.
Align the bottom of each leg between R6 and R7 of the
body -- the bottom of the leg should lay flat with the
bottom of the dino’s body. This will allow the dino to sit up straight on its own.
Ensure each leg is centered with the head and respective arm, then sew to the
   body to secure.
★ TAIL: Align the top of the tail between R10 and R11 of the body. Align the
bottom of the tail between R3 and R4 of the body. Ensure the tail is centered
with the back of your dino’s head and sew to the body to secure. Note the
bottom of the tail should lay flat with the bottom of the dino’s body. This will
help balance your dino and allow it to sit up straight on its own.
                                                                                Page 7
                                                             @crochetbygenna
★ SPIKES: Sew each large spike down the back of your dino’s head, body, and
tail. Sew each of the small spikes in between each large spike :)
      ○ For the large spikes, I like to evenly space them out,
with 1 spike on the top of the head, 1 on the back of
the head, 1 on the middle of the body, and 1 on the
          tail.
      ○ For the small spikes (optional), I like to place them
in between each large spike. I didn’t want a spike at
the very tip of the tail, but feel free to make another
small spike and sew it at the end of the tail if you’d
          like!
