Scope of Work TURBINE #3 MAJOR OVER HAUL

Remark

A. Overhaul Steam Turbine

1. Supply of all required spares for Minor Overhaul of Turbine # 3

2. Opening of Insulation from Casing Turbine

3. Opening Top casing to inspect Rotor blade condition & diaphragm blade condition of Top &
bottom
4. Aluminum grid/sand blasting of Rotor & diaphragm for 100% cleaning

5. Cleaning & Check physical condition of internal of turbine

6. Open cover & check Bearings of Turbine Bearing 1 & 2 and thrust bearings

7. Check Labyrinths steam sealing & oil deflectors

8. Check Main oil pump , repair(if require), assembly, alignment, trial & run

9. Open cover & check bearing, oil deflector of Generator Bearing 1 & 2

10. Open side covers & check winding & condition of ends stator & Rotor of Generator

11. Perform all electrical protection test of Generator as per protocol OEM

12. Check, repair(if require), assembly, alignment, trial & run all Auxiliary oil Pumps

13. Check, repair(if require), assembly, alignment, trial & run water both Pumps for Ejectors

14. Check, repair(if require), assembly, alignment, trial & run both Condensate pumps

15. Open Main steam valve, check, repair(if require), assembly, calibration & trial run on hydraulic
system

16. Open, check & rectify MP extraction valve/ hydraulic system, calibration & trial

17. Open, check, repair (if require) QCNRV of all extraction line with hydraulic system

18. Replace worn our spares by new in all area (Turbine, Generator, Pumps, Bearings, Labyrinths,
hydraulic system seals, Rings etc.) and assembly as per SOP OEM Nanjing Turbine

19. Assembly of Rotor, Bearings & all accessories & top casing

20. Existing Oil removal, cleaning oil tank & fill new oil

21. Oil flushing after final assembly of Turbine


22. Final calibration of All hydraulic system, main steam valve turbine & MP extraction system

23. Turbine heating, rotation & trial

24. Final checking whole turbine & related accessories, record all measurements & parameters
during Heating

25. Start trial at different RPM, over speed setting & taking on load as per protocol OEM

26. Final Insulation & handover Turbine to SDS

B. Condenser

1. Replace condenser bolt compartement inlet left & right side due worn out ( Turbin drawing
number C270010.80.01.01 )

2. Replace Gasket compartement ( Turbin drawing number C270010.80.01.01 )

3. Replace Gasket Cover Condenser ( Turbin drawing number C270010.80.01.01 )

4. Replace Gasket holder bolt ( Turbin drawing number C270010.80.01.01 )

5. Leaking test condenser Water Tube & repair when leakage

6. Replace oil Tank strainer

7. Overhaul Generator

C. Overhaul Generator Unit #3

1. Mobilize tools and equipment to site

2. Measure and record all clearances, bearings, labyrinth seals etc.

3. Measure coupling alignment before dismantling

4. Dismantle generator

5. Remove rotor

6. Electrical test (before cleaning) to Stator, Rotor, Exciter assembly


• Cleaning to Stator, Rotor, Exciter assembly

• Electrical test (after cleaning) to Stator, Rotor, Exciter assembly

• Megger Insulation test generator

• Perform NDT bearings

• Perform NDT Journals

• Measure and record bearing and Labyrinth seal area journals

• Inspect stator wedges for tightness and MAP loose wedges and record

• Inspection of stator coil blocking

7. Varnish windings

8. Reassembly generator

9. Re-alignment of coupling to original figures

10. On line PD test

11. Assist in commissioning test

12. Submit detailed report to client

13. Demobilize tools and equipment

D. DEH Lub Check , parameter setting & functional test by Sicion DCS

E. Inspection report measurement report before Overhaul

F. Repair report & measurment

G. Final Report

H. Comissioning & Peformance test asper pwformance guarantee load 4 , 6 , 8 MW , 12 MW , 16

I. Special Tool supply by Manufacturer like Turbine casing bolt heater , Chain block , Special sling ,
Rope , Generator puller & ectc
