Twisted Pair
⚫ Primarily developed for computer networks.
⚫ Known as Ethernet cable
⚫ Consists of 4 color-coded pairs of insulated copper wires.
⚫ There are four pairs. Each pair has one solid color and one
stripped color wire.
⚫ There are two types of twisted-pair cable, based on how
pairs are stripped in the plastic sheath,;
UTP and STP.
