General Description
Bidder to confirm that offer transformer shall be type tested design of similar rating. If Bidder does not have valid type test report then type test & short circuit test shall

carry out by bidder without any price implication.A transformer is considered similar to another transformer inline with IEC 60076.
2 Transformer overloading @110% without increase in hotspot temperature of 98Deg C at weighted ambient of 32 Deg C. Bidder to confirm.

The maximum flux density in any part of the core & yoke at the rated MVA, voltage & frequency shall be such that under 110% continuous voltage condition it does not

exceed 1.9 tesla.
Bidder to carry out Type test i.e Temp. rise test & Lightning impulse test and special test i.e Zero sequence impedance, measurement of harmonics of no load current and

acoustic noise level in one of the transformer for design validation.
6 Sub-vendor proposed by bidder is subjected to approval of Purchaser QA team.
7 Bidder to confirm that clearance between Ph-Ph & Ph-E for HV Side and LV side shall be provided as per specification
