The character was created as a propaganda tool during World War II,
where it represented a free and democratic America that opposed an imperialist Europe and
warrior, and it had great success among the public, but with the end of the conflict it lost its popularity, to

the Cold War.
In 1964, when Stan Lee decided to take over the character in The Avengers #4, he deprived him of
the nationalist elements it had at its origin, but it reformed it by giving it a new sensitivity
and humanity, and very often their stories were used to denounce corruption and
the social inequalities present in North American society, representing a kind of
the real 'consciousness' of America.
After the war ended, it fell into oblivion, despite some efforts to revive it in the
the 50s as an anti-communist hero. He was rescued in The Avengers #4 (1964) and went on to

Since the 21st century, Captain America is a paradigm of human values above
governments and political ideologies, clearly distinguishing themselves from their origins in the 1940s.
Steve Rogers, Captain America is the epitome of the perfect superhero, prioritizing the
citizen security before their own and capable of rebelling against their own government
if it were against their ideals of justice, freedom, and equality.
Wonder Woman
Marston conceived Wonder Woman as a purely feminist character and most of the
writers describe it this way, despite its clearly sexualized design aimed at men. It is

The original story of Superman states that he was born with the name Kal-El on the planet Krypton; his
father, the scientist Jor-El, and his mother Lara, sent him in a ship bound for Earth when
he was a boy, moments before the destruction of his planet. He was discovered and adopted
by Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent, a farming couple from Smallville, Kansas, who raised him with
the name of Clark Kent and instilled a strict moral code in him. Young Kent began to show
superhuman abilities, the same ones that upon reaching maturity he would decide to use for the benefit
of humanity.
Although sometimes referred to in a less than flattering manner as 'the great blue Boy Scout' by
other superheroes, Superman is also known as 'The Man of Steel', 'The Man of the '
