By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Pre-Lesson
1. Recap the previous lesson by sticking flashcards for daily routine around the classroom.
2. Say a routine and pupils point. Repeat with other routines.
3. Ask pupils to name other daily routines that they know.
Lesson Delivery
4. Have pupils work in pairs or small groups.
5. Give each pair/group a set of word cards.
6.The set includes the words from the main vocabulary, all cut up and mixed up (e.g. take /the / bus
/ walk / take / the train / drive).
7. Pupils work together to try to arrange them to make the vocabulary phrases or words.
8. Direct pupils’ attention to the first picture on SB page 17 and ask Does he ride his bike toschool?
9. Encourage pupils to answer Yes, he does.
10. Then point to the second picture and ask Does he take the train to work?
11. Encourage pupils to answer No, she doesn’t.
12. Play the audio once, pausing after each exchange in order to allow pupils enough time to fill in
the correct numbers.
Post lesson
11. Give some True and False sentences about the pictures.
12. Pupils tell you if they are True or False from memory.
REFLECTION
32/32 pupils able to complete the first task.
