sentence.

B. Establishing a purpose for
the lesson WHAT IS IT?
Group Activity: The class will be divided into 3. Each group will be
given time to spell out the words using body language.

There are categories in which adjectives must be arranged in order.
1. DETERMINER-- to inform if the adjective is singular or plural, next
or far.
Examples: a, an, our, those, that, several, some
2. OPINION-- It explains what you think about something.
Examples: lovely, nice, bad, great, silly, pretty
3. SIZE-- to express how big or small something or somebody is.
Examples: small, short, big, huge, large, tiny, little
4. SHAPE-- Any word relating to form that describe something.
Examples: square, round, rectangular, flat
5. AGE- - to express how old something or someone is.
Examples: old, young, teenage, modern, mature, ancient
6. COLOR-- to express the color of something.
Examples: red, orange, yellow, green, black, pink
7. ORIGIN-- to express the origin of someone or something.
Examples: French, Chinese, English, American, Spanish
8. MATERIAL-- to express what something is made of.
Examples: silk, cotton, wooden, plastic, gold, leather
9. PURPOSE- to express what something is used for.
Examples: party, soup, cooking cleaning, sewing, washing
10. NOUN-- The figure that is receiving the adjectives.
Examples: bag, car, mirror, table
