EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years of Full-time Business or Senior Management work experience in the last 5 years

Required Documents [For Service holder]


1. CV/Resume summarizing education, business and work experience
2. Organizational chart from all organizations where you were as senior manager in the last 5 years,
detailing your position and reporting structure. Include the size of the organization and highlight your
position
3. Last two pay stubs or payroll records from your current employer
4. Reference letters from your present and former employers for the last 5 years. The letters must meet
the following requirements:
 Printed on company letterhead and identify company address, telephone/fax numbers, email, and
website addresses (if applicable)
 Identify the responsible Officer/Supervisor and include their signature
 Stamped with the company's corporate seal (if applicable) AND specify the following:
 Employment period
 Positions held, duties and responsibilities (including the number of people managed by the
Applicant) during the employment period for each position (if applicable)
 Total annual salary plus benefits
 Number of hours worked per week
 Specific Experience (only if you claimed points in the EOI – not mandatory for the program)
5. For High Growth Experience: [Not mandatory – only if claim point on that]

 A reference letter from your employer and/or supporting documentation outlining your impact on
high growth activities of the business.
 For Export Trade Experience: A reference letter from your employer and/or supporting
documentation outlining your decision-making authority on export trade activities of the business.

Required documents [For Businessman]:


1. Three reference letters from your present or past business contacts, for example: vendors, suppliers,
customers, etc. The person providing the reference must include their name and title. The reference
letter must also include:
 Contact information for the reference
 Period of relationship
 Details of relationship
2. Business registration license [i.e. Trade licence, Article of Incorporation of each organization you
owned in the last 5 years
3. Proof of shareholding of each organization you owned in the last 5 years
4. List of all employees with the monthly salaries and number of hours paid by the employer per month.
Separate the list between part time and full-time employees. Include proof of payment of salaries for
a minimum 1 years within the last 5 years
5. Business income tax for all years that you were returns or receipts for business tax payments in
business (minimum 3 years in the last 5 years)
6. Financial statements and business bank statements for all years that you were in business (minimum 3
years in the last 5 years)
7. For High Growth Business Experience: [Not mandatory – only if claim point on that]
 Financial statements for at least two consecutive years showing increasing revenue of 20 per cent
or more
 For Export Trade Experience: Supporting documentation of at least 20 percent total revenue from
export trade, which may include financial statements, purchase orders, vendor agreements
and/or reference letters.

EDUCATION

At least high school [12 grade] pass


Required documents:
1. Notarized copy oy of all Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Transcripts in English
2. Educational Credential Assessment [ECA] from WES or ICAS

LANGUAGE TEST

At least CLB 4 in IELTS or CELPIP test


Required documents:
1. IELTS result required with minimum score of Reading: 3.5, Writing: 4, Speaking: 4, Listening: 4.5

*Investment Amount: The minimum amount needs to be invested in proposed location, to buy any existing
or new business/franchise within 12-20 months period after coming to Canada.

1. Third Party Verification Report/Asset Valuation Report by a CA firm for Legal Accumulation of Funds
[including Bank balance, house/flat, land, car, any property owned by you and your family] to proof
net worth and investment amount

EXPLORATORY VISIT

If you plan to purchase an existing business, required at least one business-related visit to Canada in last
12 months Or, during the process [Province will send the invitation letter as part of the process]
Required Documents [any 3 from below]:
1. Flight itinerary and boarding pass; 2. Accommodation receipts; 3. Summary of meetings; 4. Email
correspondence; 5. Photographs or meeting notes; 6. Business cards or contact information

Required documents:
1. Business Plan including all future business details
2. Proof of Business Ownership [only if you are purchasing an existing business in Canada]
 Business Names Report [if you have a Master Business License and are purchasing a sole
proprietorship or partnership]
 Profile Report [if purchasing a corporation]; AND, Letter of Intent to purchase a business or Sale
Agreement
 Statements of Remuneration Paid for all employees (full-time and part-time) for the most recent
tax year.

PROCESSING STEPS

1. Expression of Interest [EOI]: Submit Expression of Interest includes business concept, which will be
entered the pool and ranked by score. After meeting the criteria, ministry will Invite to Apply.
2. Invitation to Apply: After getting the invitation, need to submit final Business Plan [must align with
points claimed in EOI for investment and job creation] and all documents in support to the EOI. After
varication of all documents and analyzing the business plan the ministry will issue the final approval.
3. Performance Agreement: After Business Plan approval, need to sign a performance agreement based
on the Business Plan.
4. Temporary Resident: After signing the performance agreement, temporary resident visa will be
issued and upon meeting the performance agreement commitments, you will be nominated for PR
5. Permanent Resident [PR]: Must apply to IRCC for PR status within 6 months of being nominated.
