Managing end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting, calculating and inputting
payroll data for all employees.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies
while processing payroll.
Administer and maintain payroll systems, ensure data integrity and implement system
upgrades and enhancements.
Collaborate with finance and other departments to gather and validate payroll
information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.
Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues promptly
and accurately.
Generate payroll reports, benefits deductions and other required reports, ensuring
compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information.
Handle payroll audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as HRIS and ERP, with experience
implementing and managing payroll systems.
Prepare reconcile payroll with financial records.
Keep detail and accuracy in managing complex payroll calculation data.
Maintain time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines and manage multiple
priorities.
Manage high level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential
information.
Can also process the payroll in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Oversee the daily operation of our HR Information Systems.
Process employee data like leaves, wages and working hours.
Enroll new hires and enter information including contact details and job titles.
Collect necessary data for reporting.
Design manuals and document data processing procedures.
Generate ad-hoc reports (for example, reports on turnover, hiring costs and benefits, late
attendance, leave report, department wise costing, manpower budget, etc)
Collaborate with our IT staff to perform regular tests and upgrades to our ERP System.
Research vendors and implement new integrations as needed.
Ensure the safety and welfare of the employee.
Assist in grievance and complaints resolution.
Act as an impartial body, offering a sounding board for the Management Committee to
bounce ideas off.
Assist complainant in putting their complaint down on paper.
Compile all of the evidence into one report and provide this to the Management
Committee.
Identify options for resolution of conflicts and grievances.
Refer complaints and grievances to other bodies in conjunction with the complaints and
grievance flow chart.
Awareness of Anti-Harassment and Discrimination, Codes of Conduct, Member
Protection and other relevant policies.
Identify overarching company performance and development goals.
Create and oversee the implementation of the procedures that support and enhance
employee performance as per the company’s objectives.
Establish a two-way communication channel to receive employee feedback and modify
development policies and standards accordingly.
Gather and assess business intelligence and the necessary data to assess employee
performance and identify individual and departmental workplace issues and development
barriers.
Draft research-based performance efficiency reports, present them to senior leadership,
and suggest performance management changes as necessary.
Provide HR management with insightful training practices to reach the established
performance target goals.
Determine and resolve workplace issues that prevent optimal performance, such as
individual grievances or poor departmental structures.
Explain to employees the methodology of current or upcoming performance practices
thoroughly and professionally and follow up with them to ensure organization-wide
understanding.
