2. Minimum Marks. Minimum marks required (in essential qualification) for the
posts are given in the succeeding sub paragraphs. Candidates without minimum marks
required in essential qualification need not apply.

3. Allowances and Perquisites for Regular Staff. Accommodation inside the school
campus (If a residential accommodation cannot be provided to a member of staff, he/she
will be paid HRA in lieu of it), Transport Allowance, DA, Contributory Pension under
National Pension Scheme, Medical Allowance, subsidized education/schooling for two
biological children from class VI to XII. Availability of accommodation inside the
school campus is subject to availability.

4. Contractual/Temporary Employees. “Contractual/Temporary employees are not


entitled for any perquisites except consolidated salary (as above in para 1)”.

5. Other Conditions for Contractual Staff & Temporary Staff.

(a) Sainik Schools Society, Rules & Regulations 1997 edition and as amended
from time to time will be applicable.

(b) The contractual posts are purely for a maximum period of 12 Months from
the date of appointment but, the Principal has the authority to terminate the
services of contractual staff appointed without assigning any reason.
Reciprocally, any contractual staff member may, at any time, resign his/her post
after giving one month notice period in writing.

(c) The temporary post is purely for a maximum period of 178 days from the
date of appointment but, the Principal has the authority to terminate the
services of temporary staff appointed without assigning any reason.
Reciprocally, any temporary staff member may, at any time, resign his/her post
after giving one month notice period in writing.

6. Application Form & Documents. The following are required along with the
applications: -
(a) Desirous & eligible candidates should apply to the
Principal, Sainik School Amethi through offline mode only on the prescribed
format as attached at the end of this recruitment Notice.

(b) If applying for more than one post please forward separate application
form alo ng with s eparate Demand Draft for each post.

(c) Must attach self-attested copies of testimonials/certificates along with the


application.

(d) Two Passport size photograph.

(e) Candidates must attach Demand Draft (non-refundable) for an amount


of Rs. 500 for Gen/ OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates drawn
in favour of “Principal Sainik School Amethi” payable at Gauriganj or
Amethi (Uttar Pradesh).

(f) Self-addressed envelope with Rs. 30 postage stamps affixed on it.

(g) “APPLICATION F O R T H E P O S T O F ” including the type of


vacancy i.e. Regular or Contractual or Temporary must be written in Capital
letters on the top of application Envelope.

7. Last date of receipt of applications. Application should reach latest by


16 August 2025 (1700 hrs) (applications received after the due date will be treated as

8. Mode of Receipt of application.
(a) Candidates are required to send their application through Ordinary Post/
Registered post/ Speed post (by Indian Postal Services) only.

(b) School will not be responsible for any postal delay.


(c) By hand/E-mail applications will not be accepted.

9. Mode of Call Letters.

(a) Candidates are required to submit their working email ID in legible writing/
clear hand writing for issuing of the call letters for written examination/ skill
test. Call letters will primarily be sent by email only. Working Mobile number
is also mandatory for communication.

(b) It is the responsibility of candidate to write legible email ID, Contact details
& address. School will not be responsible for wrong posting of admit card due to
non-legible of email address/ postal address.

(c) Call letter through registered post will only be sent in case of failed email
delivery/ Non availability of email ID.
10. Selection Process.

(a) Selection will be made based on individual’s performance in written test, skill
test/ class demonstration and interview (as applicable).
(b) Written Test. Shortlisted candidates meeting all eligibility criteria will only be
called for written test. Candidates who qualify written test will only be called for
class demonstration/skill test and interview (as applicable). No TA/DA will be
admissible for attending the selection tests.
The patterns for question paper for the various advertised posts are as appended
below:
(i) PGT’s, TGT’s & PTI/PEM cum Matron (Female only). Written test will be
of one hour duration (approx.) and will carry maximum 100 marks.
The question paper for the written test will be prepared as per the details

(c) Skill Test and Interview. Skill test for various posts will include work/ test

will include class demonstration on an appropriate topic with lesson plan and
appropriate teaching aids. Apart from Class demonstration there will be an interview.

(ii) Office Superintendent (OS). Skill test for OS will include typing test, letter
drafting test and computer proficiency test and also, an interview will be conducted.

(iii) Upper Divison Clerk (UDC) & Lower Divison Clerk (LDC). Skill test for
UDC & LDC will include typing test, letter drafting test and computer proficiency test.
(d) In case non-availability of suitable candidates in a specific category, the
unfilled vacancies will be filled from other categories.
