E.Q.: Post Graduation with B.Ed.
Essential Experience: Atleast fifteen years’ teaching experience as a PGT of which five years should be
administrative experience in a reputed English Medium School. The school being served in, presently, must
have a minimum student strength of 1000. Those who are drawing minimum gross salary of Rs. 75000 &
above need only apply.
2. Head Master/Mistress (IX & X):
E.Q.: Post Graduation with B.Ed.
Essential Experience: Atleast fifteen years’ teaching experience as a PGT of which five years should be
administrative experience in a reputed English Medium School. The school being served in, presently, must
have a minimum student strength of 1000. Those who are drawing minimum gross salary of Rs. 60000 &
above need only apply.
3. (a) PGT-Biology:
E.Q.: Post-Graduation in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/Micro-Biology/
Bio-Technology/ Molecular Biology/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and
Zoology at Graduation level & B.Ed.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching Biology to Senior Secondary classes (XI & XII)
or at least 10 Years of teaching Biology to Secondary classes (IX & X).
(b) PGT-Economics:
E.Q.: Post-Graduation in Economics & B.Ed.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience of teaching Economics from classes VI to XII
only, will be considered.
(c) PGT-Computer Science:
E.Q.: B.E., B.Tech. (Computer Science) / BCA / MCA/ M. Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Electronics with
Computer Science Component) / M.Sc. (IT) / B.Sc. (Computer Science)
OR
Bachelor’s/Master degree in any Science Subject/Mathematics from recognized University with Post
Graduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized University/Institute.
OR
Post Graduate degree in any subject with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer application from
government recognized University / ‘O’ level from DOEACC.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience of teaching Computer Science to UG classes
in recognised Colleges or Universities / classes VI to XII only, will be considered.
(d) PGT/TGT-Physical Education:
E.Q.: Graduation with M.P.Ed.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience of teaching Physical Education from classes
VI to XII only, will be considered.
4. (a) TGT-English*:
E.Q.: Post-Graduation in English & B.Ed.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience of teaching English from classes VI to XII

(b) TGT-Hindi*:

(c) PRT (Lady Teacher)-Health Wellness Teacher:
E.Q.: Post Graduation/Graduation in Psychology or Post Graduation in Child Development or Post
Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience as Health Wellness Teacher/Councellor in a
reputed educational institution.
(d) PRT (Lady Teacher)-Special Educator:
E.Q.: Post Graduation/Graduation in any discipline with Diploma/PG Diploma/B.Ed. in Special
Education or any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI and duly registered with RCI.
Desired experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience as Special Educator in a reputed educational
institution.
(e) PRT (Lady Teacher): Art & Craft
E.Q.: Graduation/Post Graduation in Fine Arts
Desired experience: 3 years relevant experience of teaching from classes I to X. CANDIDATES WITH
LESS EXPERIENCE/FRESHERS CAN ALSO APPLY. HOWEVER, IF SELECTED SUCH CANDIDATE(S), WILL BE
APPOINTED ON AD HOC BASIS/CONTRACTUAL BASIS.
Age (Not applicable to internal candidates): below 55 years for Sl. Nos. 1 & 2, below 45 years for Sl. No. 3 (a to d),

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
(a) CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL RENDER THE CANDIDATE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE POST

(b) The Management reserves the right to shortlist candidates to be called for the written test/interview.
(c) All the columns of the application form must be filled-in properly. Please furnish all the required details
as per the format. Incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected and the applicant shall be solely
responsible for this.
(d) Aspiring Candidates should read carefully the requisite essential qualifications, age and eligibility,
experience criteria etc. laid down before applying for the relevant post. Fulfillment of qualifications and
experience are essential requirements, failing which the application will be rejected. However, mere
eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being shortlisted for written test/interview etc.
(e) Details of all the qualifications obtained starting from class X onwards are to be mentioned in the
application form (Mandatory).
(f) Those who are working in other Delhi Public Schools under the aegis of The DPSS, New Delhi
are required to submit NOC from their employer along with the application form.
(g) Shortlisted candidates for written test/interview will be intimated through e-mail only. Hence,
candidates are required to provide correct/proper e-mail ID.
(h) (i) Candidates who have secured minimum 50% at each level from Class X upto the required
minimum qualification, only need apply.
(ii) However, internal candidates who have the requisite educational qualification(s) and experience
may apply.
(i) As far as the educational qualifications for the posts, the school follows NCTE norms as prescribed from
time to time.
(j) Those who are proficient in English will be preferred.
(k) The final shortlisting of candidates will depend on the number of applications received. The criteria for
shortlisting of candidates are subject to revision in case the number of applicants who meet the desired
qualifications and experience is more.
(l) In case the number of candidates applying for a specific post is less, then the desired level of relevant
experience may be relaxed.
(m) In case a candidate does not meet the requirements after the interview for the post (grade) applied for,
s/he may be offered a lower grade/salary.
(n) The candidates are required to submit the following along with the application:
(i) Photocopies of the marksheets of X, XII, final year graduation, post-graduation, B.Ed., D.El.Ed.,
B.El.Ed., D.Ed., CTET/TET etc.
(ii) Photocopies of the relevant experience certificates of previous employer(s).
(iii) Recent salary slip or salary certificate from the current employer.
Those who do not submit photocopies (wherever applicable) of the marksheet(s), experience
certificate(s) and salary slip or salary certificate, their application will be summarily rejected. No
reminders will be sent.
Experience certificate(s) must clearly mention the designation, classes taught and salary drawn.
Experience certificate(s) of recognized Secondary and Senior Secondary schools will be considered. Play
school experience certificate(s) will not be considered.
(o) No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.
(p) The prescribed essential qualifications and experience are the minimum requirements and mere
possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to be shortlisted for interview.
