II. INSTALLATION
1. Installation
The machine is whole packaged, after buying the machine, only to remove the packaging
box, check accesories and spare parts against packing list, clear away antirust grease coated on
the body, and then install it on the ground, the requeriment of which shall folow against the Fig.
3 in the operation manual.

2. Notes
See the Appendix Fig. 1 when installing the machine. Please notice that the supporter on the
flywheel side of driving shaft shall be on the same level with the motor base and main base (10).
When adjusting the supporting setscrew(11) under the supporter on the flywheel side, note that
the strength should be suitable. It is not too tight or too loose. The standard is the flexible of shank
flywheel. (Note: too tight or too loose will all make the cantilever bend and produce the additional
bending distance when running. The it will lead the damage of supporter rolling shaft).

III. OPERATION OF THE MACHINE
After finishing installing and connecting electrical power, don’t start the machine at once,
shall check as following:
1. Whether each lubricating point is added oil. The machine has changed to add oil by
manual oil-pump centrally, it’s convenient and reliable to operate. When it is on the motionless
conditions, the filling speed of manual oil-pump is slower, continuously adding oil after running
is much better. Add oil 2-3 times at least at every shift. (See Fig. 7)
2. Check whether the safety protecting device is sensitive and reliable, see Appendix Fig. 1.
When the manual castellated clutch (1) is on the connecting conditions, the limited block contacts
with the position-limiting switch fixed on the base, cut off electrical power to ensure the machine
can’t run when it is on the manual operating conditions.
3. Rotate worm axle(2) with wrench (See Appendix Fig. 4) to drive driving shaft (3) to make
pressing shelf run, observe whether it is smooth when moving back and forth, and jams or not.

If the above-mentioned checking is normal, pull clutch wheel out a little (See Appendix
Fig.4) to make castellated clutch on the separating conditions (See Appendix Fig. 2), and then
operation as following:

Explanations: (the figure is only for basic diagram)
1. This Diagram is only for basic diagram.
2. Producer determines the basic scale height.
3. The built-in electric pipe should on basis80, and the entrance is higher than the basis80.
4. The diameter of built-in electric pipe is Ø19(3/4)
5. The producer determines the in-power pre-pipe.

A. Start : press the knob on operation knob-case (1) (See Appendix Fig. 1) to make motor
drive flywheel to run blankly.
B. Pressing and cutting: after the flywheel running for a certain time, press “work” knob, the
machine can do continuous pressing and cutting at this time.
C. Urgent stop: see Appendix Fig. 1, push the urgent brake handle(3) forwards or press
handle knob (2) down t cut off and release electricity of single electromagnetic clutch on
the flywheel, pressing shelf can stop at any position at this time.
D. Counting: press the counting functional key on the counting indicating key (1) panel to
count pressing and cutting quantity.

IV. Adjustment of pressing and cutting precision

Before pressing and cutting mass products, test to press the sample paper to observe whether
its depth of pressing and cutting line is even or not, adjust relatively if found the following
situations:
A. The indentation and cutting line of the sample aren’t even on the left and right: adjust
left and right eccentric cover (1) respectively, see Appendix Fig. 5. Adjusting method: loosen
clamping screw (4), back tooth locating plate (3) and safety plate(2), uncouple engagement parts
of tooth surface, and then rotary eccentric cover (1) leftwards or rightwards a little, push tooth
locating plate in to engagement, notice the fixing screw on the fastening locating plate and safety
plate [adjusting quantity and direction against scale(5)].

Appendix Fig. 5
1. Eccentric Cover 2. Safety Plate 3.Tooth Locating Plate
4. Clamping Screw 5. Scale

7
B. The indentation and cutting line of the sample aren’t even on the top and below, adjust
top and below adjusting block (12) of guide rail slot respectively, see Appendix Fig. 1. Adjusting
method: loosen clamping screw of left and right guide rail slot, when the top indentation-line is
too light, loosen below pressing block and adjust it upwards, the left and right adjustment shall
be equal. The upper and below surface gap shall not exceed 0.05mm. At the same time adjust
the eccentric cover (1) on the curved ring supporting base (2) relatively [See Appendix Fig.6]to
ensure the supporting roll wheel moves freely in the curved ring slot [notice: loosen screw (3) first
if the adjusting quantity is big.]

Appendix Fig.6

V. Troubles and shoots

A. Troubles: in the process operating process, the pressing shelf sometimes jams to stop on the
working pole position, commonly called as “break down”. The result to cause this phenomenon is
that the running inertia force of the machine stops when the connecting rod and crank rod are on
the collinear position (that is the “dead point” position in the crank rod structure).
B. Shoots: after causing the above-mentioned trouble, stop starting at once to avoid to burn
out motor, and pull clutch rod (1) after the flywheel stops running completely [See Appendix
Fig.4]to make castellated clutch on the connecting conditions, and then rotary worm shaft (2)
anti-clockwise with wrench [See Appendix Fig. 4], and open pressing shelf slowly.

8
VI. Notes for safety operation
The machine is equipped with safety rod (3) on the plane side of body and safety protection
(4) on the top surface of plane surface of pressing shelf, and swing block (See Fig. 1), when
human body or other objects get in dangerous area, pushing safety rod(3) or swing block can
brake urgently and protect human body and the machine. But notice the following items when
operating:
A. Don’t put any things on the tilting surface of base plate to avoid it to drop between
pressing shelf and base plate to destroy the machine.
B. To ensure the curved ring slot is clean and lubricant, and not allow any things to drop in
so as not to influence pressing and cutting precision.
C. Notice whether the clamping screw (3) of curved ring supporting base [See Appendix
Fig.6] is loosened because of quaking, fasten it timely to avoid to destroy the machine.
D. Keep the surface of electric brush ring (3) and electric brush (4) [See Appendix Fig.2]
cleans and touch well so as not to influence the sensitivity of clutch.

VII. Usage
The machine sets three way for user to choose, user can choose different pressing and cutting
ways of continuous, timing and single sheet through the option switch (SAi) on the panel. (See
Electrical Principle Diagram and Panel Scheme).
Connect electric power, the red indicating light (DL1) is lighted and the machine is awaited.
Press starting knob SB3, SB4, KM1 energize and auto-lock, main motor and flywheel run,
the green indicating light (DL2) is lighted.
Continuous pressing and cutting:
Turn the option switch to [continuos], the normally closed of SA1 auto-lock the pressing and
cutting relay, so when opening pressing shelf and touch the position switch at every time, it won’t
break off the auto-lock of relay and be connecting, and the machine works under the automatic
continuous pressing and cutting.

Single sheet pressing and cutting

Turn the timing switch to [single sheet], the normally closed contact and normally open
contact of SA1 aren’t connected, when the machine pressing and cutting once, the normally
closed contact of position switch SQ1 break of the auto-lock of relay and pause pressing and
cutting, after pressing the knob or foot switch, it start to press and cut once again.

9
Delayed pressing and cutting:

Turn the timing switch to [delayed], the normally closed contact of SA1 breaks off auto-lock
of relay, but what is different from single sheet is that the SA1 normally open connecting time
relay SJ, when the position-limiting switch SQ1 cuts off pressing and cutting circuit as well starts
time relay to delay at every time, after finishing to delay, the normally open the time relay starts
clutch circuit automatically. To make it press and cut once automatically and contantly recycle,
the machine works under the open auto delayed way. The length of delayed time can be set by
driving plate on the panel to suit all assortments of products processing.

It fixes a counter JS for accumulative pressing and cutting times, it is counted by position
switch SQ2 to add 1 when pressing and cutting at every time. Press the small key on the left side
of counter to reset, choose the switch SA2 can open or close the counter.

The safety protection of the machine is combined by triangular safety shelf position-limiting
switch XK2, portal pushing rod position-limiting switch XR1 and the normally closed contact of
handle position-limiting switch XK3. Breaking off any contact will stop pressing and cutting.

The knob switch CK1 of manual mixer breaks off motor relay KM1 and connects witch
clutch relay KM3 directly when mixing.
