Tyler – High school boy, appears to be worried about his
classmate.
Taylor – High school girl, mourning over her brother’s death.
News Reporter – News reporter.
Teacher – High school teacher.
Maya – High school girl, friend of Tyler and nosey.
FADE IN:
INT. TYLER’s HOME, KITCHEN – EARLY MORNING
News channel is shown on the television featuring NEWS REPORTER.
Urgent news has come out. Television reads “BREAKING NEWS”
NEWS REPORTER
Huh? Just in, local teen found dead with
Bite marks on her neck.
Camera begins to pan to TYLER, who is drinking coffee. TYLER
looks unshaken.
NEWS REPORTER
This is the third victim in the past two
weeks.
TYLER turns off the news and walks out the door to head to
school.
FADE OUT:
FADE IN:
INT. WOODMONT HIGH SCHOOL – MORNING
Classroom door opens and TYLER begins to walk through the front
door.
TAYLOR
(crying)
TYLER walks by TAYLOR crying while being comforted by her
friend. Acknowledges her and walks to a group of friends
talking. Camera follows TYLER as he walks towards his friends.
TYLER
(confused) Does anyone know why
she’s crying? Like, what’s going on?
MAYA
I mean, her brother died yesterday.
FRIEND 2 appears to be shocked when this is announced.
FRIEND 1
Yeah, I heard it was some kind of animal
attack or something.
FRIEND 3
What kind of animal would even do
that?
TEACHER
Alright class let’s go ahead and get
started, today we’re going to be
talking about exponential functions.
TEACHER begins class, everybody starts to walk to their seats
and take out their textbooks and class supplies.

INT. WOODMONT HIGH SCHOOL – MORNING

BELL
(rings)
TEACHER
Alright guys, don’t forget to give
me your homework first thing
tomorrow morning.
Lots of movement within the classroom, all students are leaving
the classroom to go to their next classes. TEACHER has a break
between classes, so he is also exiting.
Lights turn off, and TEACHER begins to exit classroom. As he is
exiting, TAYLOR walks up to him.
TAYLOR
Um, I left my phone in the class,
can I go and get it?
TEACHER
Yeah, just make sure to close the
door on the way out.
TAYLOR
Okay, thank you.
TAYLOR walks into the empty classroom, searching for her phone.
Lights briefly turn on and off.
TAYLOR notices somebody walk in the class as she is searching
for her phone.
TAYLOR
(somewhat startled) Oh, you scared
me.
TAYLOR looks confused.
TAYLOR
Do you need something?
Camera pans to TYLER walking towards TAYLOR.
FADE OUT:
FADE IN:
INT. WOODMONT HIGH SCHOOL, HALLWAY – MORNING
Group of friends (including MAYA) is walking down the hallway.
FRIEND 4:
(to MAYA) Have you seen TYLER?
MAYA:
TYLER?
MAYA appears to be confused and questioning TYLER’s whereabouts.
MAYA:
Hold on, let me go look for
Him.
MAYA breaks away from group of friends to go search for TYLER.
She begins walking back through the hallways.
A loud scream is heard.
MAYA begins to quickly hurry in the direction of the scream. She
finds the classroom door open.
MAYA
(gasps)
Camera cuts to TAYLOR, laying on the floor motionless. Zooms in
to reveal bite marks on her neck.
Camera cuts to MAYA. TYLER runs up behind MAYA.
TYLER
(appears to be surprised) What
happened?
