Important Information
1. Immediate family member e.g. Spouse, Sibling and parents cannot be your guarantor
2. You cannot share the same apartment as your guarantor
3. The Guarantor must have known you for at least two years.
4. The Guarantor must be a resident of your state of residence.
5. For a Guarantor who is self-employed, evidence of business registration with Corporate
Affairs Commission i.e. the document must show the Guarantor as owner or co-owner of the
business. This must be attached to the Guarantor form
6. Professionals like the following would be acceptable as Guarantors: Medical Practitioner,
Chartered Accountant, Estate Surveyor, Human Resource Practitioner, Architects, Engineer,
Any false statement, misrepresentation or concealment of any material fact on this form, or on any other
document presented in support of this application, may be grounds for prosecution
clergyman, or any other registered profession in Nigeria. However, the person must not have
less than 4 years’ experience in their field and must include a copy of professional practicing
certificate
7. The attached passport photograph must not be older than six months with names and
signatures appended at the back of the passport.
8. A valid means of identification (International passport, NIN, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card) of
the Guarantor must accompany the form
