Nowadays, communication among people has become easier with modern technological
innovations and inventions. Obviously, different people use different modes of
communication and my favourite way to communicate is using the phone. There are
many advantages to using a phone. Phones tend to save us a great deal of time if they
are used properly. For instance, if I want to contact a group of friends for a school
project, I simply create a chat group. With internet connection, mobile phones also
allow all users to send out voice messages, video, pictures and emojis. Especially during
this time when people cannot meet each other frequently due to covid 19 pandemic,
people can still meet via video calls… To me, it’s not just an effective but also a fun way
to communicate.
2- Talk about the benefits of using Internet?( speaking + writing)
Nowadays, most people in the world are using the internet. As we know, using the internet
has several benefits. The first is that it's convenient to research what we want on the websites
to get some information, documents, news or music. The second one, it’s easy to buy a lot of
products from all over the world by using online shopping. To many people, they don’t want
to buy sth from the market or somewhere else, all they need to do is use their phones or any
devices connected with the internet to get what they want right at their home. For example,
we go to Shoppee’s website and research any products that we need to order. Moreover, we
can sell our products on the internet. Another advantage is that we can connect with anyone
through the internet. These days, most of us use social networks to contact relatives and
people around the world. Moreover , there are a lot of career opportunities on the internet,
which help people earn extra income without going to offices. In conclusion, the internet
plays an important part in making our life better.
3-Talk about the benefits of learning online?
Learning online or E learning is the process of learning using electronic media. It allows you
to learn anywhere and usually at everytime as long as you have a properly configured device
such as computers or mobile phones. Now, I would like to share with you the benefit of
learning online. First, E learning saves time and money. Compared to traditional forms of
learning, online learning helps reduce cost for transportation or accommodation as students
can just stay at home attending the online class. The second benefit of E learning is more
flexible and convenient. Students can access the online class anywhere, anytime as long as
they have an internet connection. Students could watch the recording video of the online class
if they missed it so they can catch up with the syllabus taught. If they don’t understand or are
unable to follow the lecturer teaching in an online class, they can revise by watching again
the recording video of the class. Besides, the internet provides a wide range of useful learning
materials. In addition, it helps develop multiple skills such as technical skill or time
management skills because these skills are crucial for students. In conclusion, learning online
has become quite popular and appreciated among students all over the world due to the wide
set of benefits it gives to students.
4-Talk about drawbacks of using computer a lots. ( skeaking +
writing)
Nowadays computers have become a need of every person. Many people use it either for
office work, education or entertainment. Although computer have proved to be a boon for
human kind, they have some drawbacks as well. Firstly , Using computer for a long time
may affect your eyes. Constantly looking at the computer screen makes the eyes work too
much, causing fatigue, it can cause vision loss, make the eyes look worse and cause myopia.
Secondly, frequent use of computers leads to loneliness. People using social media sites for
interactions these days makes people lose their contact with family and friends. This has
become the reason for loneliness amongst people. In addition, depending too much on
computers decreases learning ability. Students these days use calculators for calculations and
Google for many simple answers. This can reduce the learning ability and creativity in
students. In conclusion, computers can be a wonderful tools supporting for study only if they
are úed moderately.
5- Talk about an invention you think is the most important?

A lot of innovative, useful, and life saving inventions made their debut during the last 100
years. For example Antibiotics, airplanes. All of these are important inventions; even so, in
my opinion, the computer is the most important. Computers changed the way people live,
work, and relax.. The biggest advantage of using the computer is that it has got a memory
large enough to store every bit of data known to humans. Computers do not make mistakes;
nor do they get tired. Another advantage of this little machine is that it has made other
inventions even better. For example, computers are used in aviation and they have made air
travelling safer. Likewise, computers are used in the medical field as well and they make the
diagnosis of many diseases easier. In this way, they play the same role as antibiotics in saving
lives. Computers have also changed the way we spend our leisure time. Instead of reading a
newspaper or watching a movie on their television, people now play games on their computer
or chat with their friends on social networking sites. Unlike a newspaper or a television a
computer can deliver the exact same content that the viewer needs.
In conclusion, all inventions are important and beneficial; even so, in my opinion, the
computer is the most important invention because it makes life easier and also has enhanced
the functioning of other inventions
