Overview
The Community Extension Service (CES) Office of Dasol Catholic School proudly
presents this overview of the narrative report for the Academic Year 2024–2025.
Guided by the CES general goal — to lead and coordinate community extension
initiatives that promote holistic development, environmental stewardship, and
social responsibility — the CES Office has successfully achieved its major targets
and initiatives under the Care for Creation Desk and Catechist Formator roles.
Throughout the year, the CES Office worked in alignment with its vision of
nurturing environmentally conscious and socially responsible individuals and
fulfilling its mission of empowering students and local communities through
integrated educational and outreach programs.
Key Accomplishments
✅ Enhanced Environmental Education
Successfully integrated environmental topics into school activities and
learning.
Organized workshops and seminars focused on climate change,
sustainability, and the connection to human rights, providing students with
opportunities for advocacy and active learning.
✅ Promoted Active Community Engagement
Established strong partnerships with local government units, barangays, and
community leaders.
Conducted clean-up drives, tree-planting activities, and environmental
campaigns, creating meaningful collaborations between the school and the
local community.
✅ Strengthened Catechist Formation and Student Leadership
Provided continuous formation and training for student Catechists, ensuring
they were equipped with strong teaching strategies, curriculum
understanding, and ethical grounding.
Enabled student Catechists to actively serve in various schools within Dasol,
becoming role models of faith and service.
✅ Expanded the KAPATIRAN Program
Partnered with different clubs and organizations in DCS and other schools to
give food, school supplies, and basic needs, promoting unity and care.
Built a network of KAPATIRAN ambassadors who actively promoted the
program’s mission and values.
✅ Monitored, Evaluated, and Sustained Programs
Established a system of monitoring and feedback to continually assess the
effectiveness of CES initiatives.
Developed sustainability strategies, including seeking local support and
resources to maintain long-term impact.
The Academic Year 2024–2025 marked a successful and fruitful year for the CES
Office. The combination of environmental advocacy, catechetical formation, student
leadership, and community engagement resulted in significant progress toward the
office’s goals. Through the collective effort of students, faculty, community
partners, and with the support of school leadership, the CES Office remains
committed to sustaining and expanding its mission of service, stewardship,
and transformation in the years to come.
