COLOURS OF LIFE

SCENE 1
Aao tumhe saath me le jaaye
Rango ki duniya dekhaye
Har rang ha kuch kehta
Aao isse hus ke aapnaye
NARRATOR 1: Hey, what happened to you? Aaj kin rangon ki duniya main
khoye ho?
NARRATOR 2: Look, everything is so bright and colourful around us. So
today we are going to take you all to the world of colours.
NARRATOR 1: Oh really?
NARRATOR 2: Yes, the life is full of colours in which each colour brings a
new charm. It is hard to imagine a life without colours. Colour communicates so
much. It has the power to convey moods and feelings.
NARRATOR 1: You are absolutely right dear. Chalo aao dekhe, what Red
colour signifies in our life.
NARRATOR 2: Do you know when the red color becomes the part of our life,
then it signifies love. Now let’s see its importance through an enactment by the
students.
GRANDSON: Grandpa, Grandpa …. Where are you? Look I am back from
school. I guess everyone is playing hide and seek with me. That’s why I can’t
see anyone.
GRANDSON TO GRANDFATHER – Oh my God. Here are you all. But
when you all were not around me, I missed you so…. much.
GRANDFATHER: oh …Mera chashma nhi mil rha. Kya kisi ne dekha hai? Pta
nhi kahan rakh diys maine.
GRANDSON: Oh. Here they are … you have kept it on the shelf, dadu and you
forgot.
GRANDFATHER: Thank you, my son.
GRANDMOTHER TO GRANDFATHER – Aap toh har cheez rakh ke bhool
jate ho. Pta nhi aapki bhoolne ki aadat kab chootegi.
GRANDSON: Don’t worry dadi ma. Main hu na dadu ke saare kaam karne ke
liye.
GRANDMOTHER: Tu toh humara laadla hai.
(father will enter with briefcase in his hand)
FATHER: So, the family get together is going on. Am I right?
MOTHER – I am happy that our son is learning to help elders.
FATHER – Oh ... That’s great. We grow and our bond gets stronger when we
help, love and care for each other. That’s when we call it a happy family.

(CHOIR BY GRADE 1 OLIVE)


SCENE 2
NARRATOR 3: Wow, such a beautiful significance of Red colour which
represent love and happiness in our lives.
NARRATOR 4: Yes. Actually, it is.
(Grandfather is reading the newspaper, grandmother sitting in a corner and
knitting a sweater. The father is working on a laptop. Suddenly the phone bell
rings.)

FATHER: Hello, may I know who’s this?


CALLER: A very good morning, sir. This is Mr. Jackson. I would like to bring
it to your notice that your transfer orders are out.
FATHER: Right Mr. Jackson. Thank you so much for your kind information.
GRANDFATHER: Kya hua beta? Kis baat ki chinta hai? Kiski call thi? Sab
theek hain na?
FATHER: Dad, Mr. Jackson ki call thi. Mera transfer Noida ho gya hai. Mujhe
next week join karna hoga.
GRANDFATHER: Don't worry, beta. It’s a part of life. Noida bahut bada
shahar hai. Whan aapko better opportunities hi milengi.
FATHER: I understand, dad. Par mujhe aap dono ki chinta hai.
GRANDFATHER: You just don't worry about us. Hum apna dhyaan rakh
lenge. Tum bas jaane ki tayaari karo.
FATHER: Yes, dad!!
NARRATOR 3: Father moved to Noida with his wife and son. Father becomes
over occupied with his work and mother remains busy in her household chores.
And sadly, the child left unattended and kept himself busy on the phone.
NARRATOR 4: After a few months, grandparents decided to visit them. And
they were shocked to see the power of black colour that has over shadowed the
happy family. Grandson has become addicted to the phone. Let’s see how badly
it influenced the child.
(DANCE PERFORMANCE ON MOBILES)
(Grandson still playing on the phone)
GRANDFATHER: Grandson, why are you so addicted to the phone? This is a
sheer waste of time.
GRANDSON: Grandpa, I am just playing games on my mobile.
GRANDFATHER: My dear son. It will affect your eyesight and studies too.
Come with me I will tell you how to live a healthy life.
(KIDFIT DANCE PERFORMANCE)
SCENE 3
NARRATOR 5: Wonderful!! It was a thrilling performance by the students.
They have beautifully represented the importance of White colour in our lives.
NARRATOR 6: You are absolutely right, dear. After few days, the family
welcomes a new member in the family- their beloved daughter. Everyone was
so happy on arrival of the little angel. This is how the colour Pink enters in their
lives to add vibrance.
NARRATOR 5: It was so kind and comforting, full of compassion. Its friendly,
playful spirit calms and nurtures the family, bringing joy and warmth into their
lives.
FATHER: Dad, I am so happy today. We are blessed with a daughter. God has
been so kind to us. He has answered our prayers.
GRANDFATHER AND GRANDMOTHER (TOGETHER): Congratulations
my dear, son!! We are so happy for you. God bless you!
GRANDSON: Wow dad, I am a big brother now!! I will take good care of my
little sister. Dad, will she also go to school like me and study hard?
FATHER: I am not much educated. But I want my daughter to study and shine
like a star.
GRANDFATHER: Yes, I agree. We will fulfill all her wishes and dreams.
(GIRL EDUCATION DANCE PERFORMANCE)
SCENE 4
NARRATOR 7: The father is so passionate to fulfill the dreams that he
cherished for both his children and to give them a good and successful life.
NARRATOR 8: Blue- the colour of trust and loyalty which has a calming and
relaxing effect. It makes feel confident and secure and encourages to be reliable
and passionate towards the dreams.
NARRATOR 7: The daughter has her own dreams to fulfill. Her passion and
dedication have encouraged her father to work even harder. Let’s see the dreams
cherished.
DAUGHTER: (Excitedly): Dad! Dad! Look at this!
(Father closes the laptop and smiles)
FATHER: What’s this, my dear daughter?
DAUGHTER: (Shows him the drawing) Papa, it’s my dream! I want to be an
astronaut one day and go to space.
(The father looks at the drawing. It’s a colorful picture of rockets, stars, and her
in a space suit.)
FATHER: Wow, this is amazing! You really want to be an astronaut?
DAUGHTER: (Firmly) Yes dad. More than anything! Do you think I can do it?
(The father pauses for a moment, seeing her determination.)
FATHER: Of course you can. If it’s your dream, then we’ll do whatever we can
to make it happen.
DAUGHTER: Oh, dad. Thank you so much for believing in me. I know my
superhero dad help me fulfill my dreams. I will definitely work hard. Thank you
so much dad. I love so much.
FATHER: (Leaning down to meet her eyes) I love you too dear. There’s
nothing more important to me than helping you make your dreams come true.
(ON THE SCREEN) Years have passed. The daughter, now a TEENAGER.
TEEN DAUGHTER: Dad, I got selected for NASA’s summer program for
young scientists. Oh yes! I’m really going to do this.
(The father beams with pride.)
FATHER: I told you. One step at a time, and now look where you are.
TEEN DAUGHTER: Thank you, Dad. You made this happen.
FATHER: No, you made this happen.

(DANCE PERFORMANCE)
SCENE 5
NARRATOR 9: Such a vibrant performance by the students. They were truly
full of charm and enthusiasm, which added a tint of green colour. Green- the
color of harmony. It also gives hope, with promises of growth and prosperity,
and it provides a little bit of luck to help us along the way.
NARRATOR 10: The colour puts a great impact on the happy family bringing
them good luck and happiness. After few years, with their dedication, both the
children are successful in their lives. Let’s [peep into their lives.
(Setup: father is in the living room, reading the newspaper. Mother comes and
serve the tea, both of them, sit together and have tea. While reading the
newspaper, father saw the names of his children in the list awardees of national
of national awards of India. Father ‘s heart swell with pride.)
FATHER: Oh my God! I can’t believe it.
MOTHER: What happened? Is everything fine?
FATHER: Our both the children are going to be awarded for their success.
MOTHER: Oh, seriously! Show me where it is?
GRANDSON AND GRANDDAUGHTER: Mamma, papa, mamma, papa!
We have something exciting to share with you. You know. …..
FATHER / MOTHER: Yes, yes! You are being awarded. We are so proud of
you, my children.
(Setup: boy touches the feet of the father and mother while the girl hugs them.
Grandfather and grandmother enter)
GRANDFATHER: Kis baat ka shor hai? Koi mujhe bhi toh batao.
GRANDMOTHER: Sabhi bahut khush nazar aa rhe hain. Kya baat hai?
(Boy touches the feet of his grandparents while girl hugs both.)
GIRL/ BOY: Grandpa, grandma, we have something to tell you. We are being
honoured.
GRANDMOTHER, GRANDFATHER: We are proud of you.
(Grandma and grandfather, hugs them again and bless them.)
EVERYONE: Let’s celebrate this moment.
(Whole family hugs)
