Abstract:-

Project Name = Electricity Bill Calculator

The Electricity Bill Calculator is a web-based application

designed to simplify the process of calculating monthly
electricity bills based on unit consumption. Built using HTML,
CSS (via Bootstrap), and JavaScript, the tool allows users to
input the number of units consumed and get an instant
breakdown of the total bill.
The calculator applies a slab-based pricing model where
different rates are applied depending on the units consumed. It
also includes additional charges such as Fuel Cost Surcharge
(FC), Bank Charges (BC), AQTA (an adjustable quality tariff
amount), and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The key features include:
 Real-time calculation on user input
 Detailed bill breakdown: Cost, FC Surcharge, Bank
Charges, AQTA, GST
 Easy-to-use responsive interface
 Accurate results based on predefined tariff slabs
This project demonstrates fundamental web development skills
and showcases how JavaScript can be used to create dynamic,
user-interactive applications. It is ideal for educational
purposes, billing demonstrations, or integration into broader
energy management platforms.
