LGBT OFFICERS (TAYSAN) MEETING

Date: May 1, 2025


Time: 4:00-5:00 pm
Room: Población West Brgy. Hall., Taysan, Batangas

Proceedings:

I. Opening Activity:
The meeting began with a prayer led by Mr. Gary Taboso, LGBT Taysan President.

II. Attendance:
Five (5) officers and 1 member of the LGBT were present in the meeting. They are the
following:

1. Garry Taboso
2. John Jeffry M. Mendoza
3. Julius Bryan Espanol
4. Alexander Banaira
5. Mico Bueno
6. Lester Vergara

III. Agenda:
1. Oathtaking of the officers
2. Members of LGBT Registration
3. Province Pride March Participation
4. Action Plan for 2025
5. Other Concern

1. Oathtaking of the officers:

 Follow up if there will be oathtaking of the officers

2. Members of LGBT Registration

 To do follow-up of other LGBT members who were not able to register


through their barangay council/office.

3. Province Pride March 2025:

 Sir Garry asks the officers about the possible participation of Taysan LGBT
on the upcoming Pride March on June 2025.
o He mentioned about the contests/activities that can be participated by
the group like commercial hair and make-up contest, dance revolution
and festival costume competition.
o He also discussed the possible prizes on those contests mentioned.
 Commercial HMU Contest-20k (champion), 12k (1st runner-
up), 10k (2nd runner-up) and 2, 500 as consolation prizes.
 Festival Costume Making Contest -30k (champion), 20k (1st
runner-up), 10k (2nd runner-up) and 5000 as consolation
prizes.
 Dance Revolution-30k (champion), 20k (1st runner-up), 10k
(2nd runner-up) and 5,000 as consolation prizes.

 Kap Alex suggested that for the group to be able to join and make entries on
the said contests the officers should ask the Mam Lea if financial support
from the municipality be provided.
 The officers mentioned some members of the LGBT Taysan who can join
those contests.

4. Action Plan for the year

 The attending officers and members suggested the following activities to be


part of the action plan for 2025.
o LGBT Caravan
o LGBT Assembly
o LGBT Day(During Foundation Day)
 Contests with the assistance of LGBT (target are schools)
 Team Building
o IGP/Fund Raising Projects
 Pageants
 Concerts
 Got Talents
 Sports (one day or 1 week league- Volleyball)
 Booth
 Zumba for Cause

5. Other concerns

 Visit of LGBT Members per barangay


 The officers will ask Mam Lea if the LGBT could have an office or station.

IV. Adjournment:
The meeting concluded at 5:15 PM.
