PAYMENT STRUCTURE
- Applicable Fees should be paid via Cash, Cheque, or Bank transfer to Curtin University Dubai (“CUD”), in advance at the time of submitting
the transport request form and before the student starts to use transportation.
IMPORTANT POLICIES & PROCEDURES
- Transportation for students is offered on a “first come first serve” basis. Seats are confirmed only on the submission of the completed
Transport Form and full payment of applicable fees to CUD*.
- The University reserves the right to deny transportation if a minimum of seats are not confirmed for any given zone. Further, the University
reserves the right to combine the zones to create routes as per the locations of the students to run the fleet efficiently.
- Pick-up and drop-off points must be as per the Transport Form submitted to CUD. In case of change in pick-up and/or drop location or
discontinuation of use of the transport services will require an email to be sent to transportation coordinator on
transport@curtindubai.ac.ae at least five business days before the date of change. The transportation service can only be used during the
study/assessment weeks; it cannot be availed during study breaks or for personal use.
- Transport services are offered on a fixed time schedule. CUD and/or the drivers will not be held liable to wait in the event a student is not
on time for their pickup from home/pickup point or departure from campus. Further, drivers will not call the students upon arrival for
pickup from home or pickup point and departure from campus.
- Any changes in bus route, driver and pickup/ drop-off timing will be notified to students only through an official email to student’s Curtin
email address.
- Students must present their student ID before boarding the vehicle. Access to the transportation service will not be granted without a valid
student ID.
- Students must remain seated at all times except while getting on or off the bus
- One way use of the transportation facility is calculated as 2/3 rd of the above listed fee.
- Students enrolling for transport from week 5 onwards will be charged 2/3rd of the above listed fee.
- Students are expected to maintain decorum while using the transport facilities. Any misbehaviour or misconduct will result in suspension
of the services to the concerned students. Eating, drinking, smoking, narcotics and use of any banned substances is strictly prohibited while
traveling through university vehicle. Please note drinking water is allowed.

- Students must take responsibility for their personal belongings when using the bus service. The University does not take liability for
misplaced, lost or damaged personal belongings.
- Loud music is not permitted – those students who wish to listen to music should use headphones that keep a noise-free environment for
fellow students.
- If students are found responsible for vandalism and damage to any university property, they will be charged the cost of repair and/or
replacement, penalty fees and disciplinary action at the discretion of the University Disciplinary committee.
- Students must refrain from public display of affection.
- In case of permanent withdrawal from transportation before the census date would result in prorated weekly charges as per actual usage.
- In the case of temporary or permanent discontinuation of transportation usage by the student after the census date, the transportation fee
is not refundable.
- Fees structure is Inclusive of 5% VAT.
- Fees are subject to change at the discretion of Transnational Academic Group Middle East FZ LLC (the AIP for Curtin University). However,
the fees remain fixed during the trimester, and any changes will take effect in the following trimester.
- Transportation registration submitted five business days before the commencement of classes. Exceptions will be made at the discretion
of Transnational Academic Group Middle East FZ LLC based on availability.
