Ladakh
   1. India has launched its first-ever commercial hydrogen fuel cell bus service in Leh, Ladakh
   2.   In an attempt to check water pollution and promote conservation of the Indus River, Ladakh has declared

J&K
   3. Operation SHIVA is a high-altitude annual security operation led by the Indian Army to ensure safe and
      smooth conduct of the Shri Amarnath Yatra in Jammu & Kashmir.
   4. The Geological Survey of India (GSI) has warned of severe threats to the Guryul Ravine fossil site in
      Kashmir due to ongoing quarrying and land diversion.
   5. Indian Army's Chinar Corps said that three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in the ongoing "Operation
      Mahadev" near Dara region in J&K.

Uttarakhand

Punjab
   17. To ensure stringent punishment for those committing the crime of sacrilege, the Punjab cabinet approved
       the historic Punjab Prevention of Offences Against Holy Scripture(s) Bill, 2025
   18. ‘Project Janam Shakti’ — a comprehensive initiative in Punjab’s border district Ferozepur to check
       maternal mortality and provide natal care to pregnant women — is bearing fruits.
