Health & Disease
Reversal
What is the DIP Diet?
The DIP Diet (Disciplined &
Intelligent People's Diet),
developed by Dr. Biswaroop Roy
Chowdhury, is a plant-based
dietary plan. It aims to reverse
lifestyle diseases by harnessing
the body's natural healing
capabilities.
Core Principles of the
DIP Diet
Phase 1: Fruits Only Until
12 PM (Noon)
Consume only seasonal fruits
from morning until 12 PM.
Quantity: Your body weight (in
kg) multiplied by 10, in grams.
(Example: A 70 kg person
consumes 700 grams of
fruits.)
Choose 3 to 4 different types
of fruits.
Phase 2: Lunch & Dinner
(The Two-Plate System)
For both lunch and dinner, you will
prepare two plates:
Plate 1 (Eat First): Raw Vegetables/Salad
Consists of raw vegetables like
tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots,
radishes, beets, leafy greens,
etc.
Quantity: Your body weight (in
kg) multiplied by 5, in grams.
(Example: A 70 kg person
consumes 350 grams of
salad.)
Finish Plate 1 completely
before moving to Plate 2.
Plate 2 (After Plate 1): Cooked Vegetarian
Food
Home-cooked, simple
vegetarian meals.
This can include lentils (dal),
roti (whole wheat flatbread
without oil/ghee),
