OBJECTIVE:
Be the first player to reach exactly 41 in total card value and shout
the game’s famous winning line to claim the pot. The game allows up to
four players, each placing bets before the round begins. Players take
turns drawing from the deck, discarding, or challenging another player –
but challenges are only allowed if the targeted player’s total is 33 or
higher and below 41. Overshooting 41 results in an automatic bust for
that round. Strategic betting, bluffing, and timing your shout are key to
victory.
RULES:
All players must have four cards.
Each player take turns on getting a card from the deck and
throwing one card out.
If a player reaches a total of 33 points on their card they can
challenge a draw.
A player must reach a 41 total of their cards to finish the
game.
There are two special cards which named “jojo”. If a player
receives this card, they can pick a player that has to skip the
round.
Once a player reaches 41 points they have to shout a famous
line to win. (Depending on what the players discussed on
what the lines it would be)
SEQUENCE TYPE:
The sequence works by the players bet, in the beginning of the
game all the players must first discuss the amount of the starting bet
(e.g., five pesos) and then place it on the center. As they move on to the
game, when a player wins a game each player must put another 2 pesos
on the center except for the winner. But the catch is, if a player wins two
times in a row, the winning player gets the total amount of money at the
center.

Given:
a 1= ₱20 ( ₱5 starting bet for each of the 4 players)
d = ₱6 ( ₱2 bet again by the 3 players, if a player wins)
Solution:
a 1= ₱20
a 2= 20 + (2 – 1) 6 = ₱26
a 3= 20 + (3 – 1) 6 = ₱32
a 4= 20 + (4 – 1) 6 = ₱38
a 5= 20 + (5 – 1) 6 = ₱44
GROUP REFLECTION
We chose the arithmetic sequence for this card game because it
perfectly fits the idea of tracking the money players bet or gain
throughout the rounds. In the game, each bet or earning follows a fixed
increase or decrease, creating a predictable pattern that players can
calculate and anticipate. This not only adds a layer of mathematical
strategy but also keeps the flow of money fair and balanced for
everyone. Players who can recognize and use the sequence to their
advantage can plan smarter moves, such as when to bet high or conserve
their resources.
The arithmetic sequence were applied by the players gained coins
or money, whereas as a player wins a game they will gain more money
as rounds play. In each round, players has to add more coins at the
center, and the only way to get the betted coins at the center the players
must have two consecutive wins in a row.
The challenges that we discover is that trying to create a really
creative game is hard and the fact that we're also restricted because of
the lack of materials and knowledge. We also need to apply the
arithmetic or geometric sequence, which kinda pulled as back from our
really creative imagination. It sets a reality that students can only go that
far but, nothing is impossible!!
Because of the continuous research and all the thinking about what
kind of game where we can apply the arithmetic sequence, we gained a
lot of knowledge and ideas about editing, coding, etc, and also it made
us realize that these days you really can do anything, because there are
lot of apps that you can use to do things and you can just use it on your
phone!! on everything!! We are flabbergasted by the technology these
days.
