Collaboration with Departments: Collaborating with departments to understand the curriculum with
industry needs, identify skill gaps, and take steps that enhance students' employability and readiness for
the workforce.

 Facilitate seamless coordination with the centralized team, ensuring effective communication
and collaboration between team members.
 Assist in maintaining comprehensive databases of student records, including regular updates on
backlogs, email IDs, and contact numbers.
 Stay in constant communication with the centralized team, providing timely updates on student
placements and off-campus opportunities.
 Foster a culture of teamwork and mutual support within the placement department,
encouraging knowledge sharing.

1. Regular Interaction with Students: Actively engaging with students through one-on-one
meetings, mocks, and informational sessions to understand their career aspirations, provide
guidance, and address any concerns or queries related to placements.

2. Student Placement Rate: Ensuring a high percentage of students secure job placements or
internships by establishing effective placement strategies.

3. Student Data Management (Passing Out Batch):


 Maintain and manage comprehensive data for the passing-out batch, ensuring all records are up
to date and accurate.
 Share relevant opportunities with the passing-out batch, tracking their application and
placement status, and providing necessary support throughout the placement process.
 Share updated data of recently placed final-year students with the alumni relations team to add
them to the alma connect portal.
 Internship Completion Certificate and Offer Letter Collection

4. Career Guidance and Counseling: Providing career guidance, counseling, and support services to
students, including resume writing workshops, interview preparation sessions, and mocks.

5. Placement Process Management: Overseeing the end-to-end placement process, including


coordinating interviews, tracking student data, and ensuring timely communication with both
students and department.

6. Coordinating Industrial Visits: Collaborating with departments to organize industrial visits and
experiential learning opportunities for students, facilitating interactions with industry
professionals, and providing insights into real-world work environments.
7. Employer Engagement: Actively engaging with companies and organizations to understand their
recruitment needs, and fostering partnerships for internships, projects, and full-time
employment opportunities.

8. Gap Analysis and Skill Enhancement: Conducting gap analysis assessments to identify areas
where students need additional training or skill development to enhance their employability,
collaborating with academic and PDP departments to design and implement targeted sessions
to address these gaps.

9. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:


 Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
 Solicit feedback from stakeholders, including students, alumni, and employers, to identify areas
for improvement and innovation.
 Collaborate with the centralized team to implement continuous improvement initiatives that
enhance the effectiveness of placements.

10. Interaction with Departments and PDP Team:


 Regularly interact departments to ensure alignment of placement activities with curriculum
requirements.
 Collaborate with the PDP (Personality Development Program) team to align personality
development programs with placement requirements and industry standards.
