Building a snowman
Jake and Kate wanted to make a snowman.
They glanced out of the window and saw all the
snow that had fallen the night before. They
bundled up and headed outside.
First, Jake rolled up three balls of snow and
staked them on top of each other. Kate used
rocks to make the eyes and mouth, and a
carrot for the snowman’s nose.
Next, they found sticks to give the snowman
arms. They used their old clothes to give him a
scarf, gloves, and a cap.
The two kids stepped back and looked at their
snowman. They loved it.
