ABSTRACT
This project is aimed at developing a fully functional Website for Prashant Hotel. The basic
aim of building this website is to boost online presence and to work as a means to provide
boost in business. This website is designed to inform potential clients of Prashant Hotel about
them, about their services, their products and their values and missions.
This project also provides functionalities to store data of the client through Contact Us and
Get Quote form. It provides to be able to process, retrieve and analyse this information. This
project aims at maintaining all the information pertaining to Email Ids, Phone Numbers and
enquiries of clients and help them manage these in a better way.
The main aim is to provide Info System with a platform to increase their sales. The entire
project is developed keeping in view of the latest web development trends in the market. The
project is developed by keeping in sense the cost of development. The project take cares of
proper functioning of different web pages, which are developed as per the applicable
strategies and needs.

CHAPTER – 1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
In today's digital age, having an online presence is essential for businesses to reach a wider
audience and establish their brand. The hotels industry is no exception, and in fact, having a
website is even more critical for showcase their portfolio and services to potential clients.
Our industry-sponsored project aims to develop a website for a Album, which will serve as a
platform to display their work, attract new customers, and facilitate online bookings. The
website will be designed to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search
engines to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
Throughout the project, we will be focusing on developing a website that meets the specific
requirements of the hotel while keeping in mind the latest industry trends and best practices.
We will be utilizing various technologies and tools to ensure a seamless user experience,
including responsive web design, content management systems, and e-commerce platforms.
The project will involve a thorough analysis of the hotel needs, target audience, and
competitors to ensure that the website is tailored to their unique requirements. We will also
be conducting user testing and gathering feedback to continually improve the website's
functionality and design.
Overall, our goal is to deliver a high-quality website that not only meets the our hotel
objectives but also enhances their online presence and ultimately drives business growth.

1.2 Background of the Industry:
Prashant Hotel was founded in 2009. At the time, there were very rare hotels in Kalyan City
that specialized for their foods, and those that did exist were often expensive and catered for
foods. Prashant Restaurant saw an opportunity to serve a wider market, including special food
dishes, by providing a large selection of tables equipment at competitive prices.
The original Prashant Hotel was located in a small storefront on the corner of GNP Solitaire
Industrial Premises in Kalyan. It quickly gained a reputation for its knowledgeable staff and
wide selection of tables. Over time, the store expanded to include additional floors.
Today, Prashant Hotel is one of the largest and most well-known hotel and restaurant in
Kalyan. The hotel spans several floors and offers a massive selection of tables and menus, as
well as it provides the,audio equipment for customer entertained purpose.
Despite its size and success, Prashant Hotel has maintained its commitment to providing high-
quality products and excellent customer service. The store's knowledgeable staff includes
many professional photographers and videographers who are able to offer expert advice and
assistance to customers.
Prashant Hotel was has also adapted to changing technology and customer needs by offering
online food delivery. The company has also embraced social media and other digital
marketing channels to reach new customers and build its brand.
Overall, Prashant Hotel success can be attributed to its founder's vision and passion for
food,chef, as well as its commitment to providing high-quality products and excellent
customer service.

1.3 Problem Statement
Nowadays the electronic era makes people search online for almost everything. Business that
has an online presence allows customers to access its virtual version any time of day and
night. Everyone can research the company’s information, its products and services in the
privacy of their own home and after business hours. Business online presence helps reaching
more customers, making it easier to market the brand, make sales and build trust. This project
aims at taking the hotel to online as a marketing strategy and in turn increasing their sales.

3.1 Scope
The project developed helps people to know more about Prashant Hotel by visiting the
website. Clients can get to know about the Hotel in brief through the container of ‘About’
on Home page. They can view the Visions and Missions of the company through the
respective containers of ‘Vision’ and ‘Mission’ and put their trust in the company by
understanding their values. Through ‘NavBar’ they can navigate to ‘About Us’ page and
get in-depth knowledge about Hotel’ quality policy. Furthermore, the client can visit
‘Menu Page’ page and learn about the menus of hotel. The client can even directly
contact Prashant Hotel through ‘Contact Us’ page. The other features include Chatbot,
Our Services, Database on server side for Prashant Hotel. The GUI of the website was
developed taking in consideration the vision of Prashant Hotel.

JavaScript: JavaScript is a scripting language that enables you to create dynamically
updating content, control multimedia, animate images, and pretty much everything else.
PHP:- PHP is a server-side scripting language embedded in HTML in its simplest form.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system. Its name is a combination
of "My", the name of co-founder Michael Widenius's daughter My, and "SQL", the acronym
for Structured Query Language.

or application is bug-free, meets the technical requirements as guided by its design and
development, and meets the user requirements effectively and efficiently by handling all the
exceptional and boundary cases. The process of testing aims not only at finding faults in our
existing software but also finding measures to improve software in terms of efficiency,
accuracy, and usability. Software testing methods are divided into Black-box and White-box
testing.

Black-box testing involves testing a system for its functionalities without peering into its
internal structure. With black-box testing it is possible to identify how the system responds to
expected and unexpected user actions, its response time, usability issues and reliability issues.
The testing does not cover inside details such as code, server logic and development method.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system that has been used in our
project through phpMyAdmin. Thus, PHP has been used for database connectivity and data
insertion in the database. This Database is updated when a user fills the Support Need Page
form.

Press’ Website is built. Now, a user can access the website & get more information through
the website’s About Us Page & Our Products page. User can also contact Vaishali Digital

SCOPE
7.1 Conclusions:
In conclusion, the development of a fully functional website for Prashant Hotel’ Website was
the focus of this project. The primary goal was to improve Prashant Hotel’ online presence
and provide them with a platform to increase their sales. The website provides information on
the company, its products, services, values, and mission, and has functionalities such as a
Contact Us and Get Suggestion forms, and a database to manage client information. The
project was developed based on the latest web development trends in the market, and keeping
the cost of development in mind. The project also takes care of proper functioning of
different web pages, developed as per the applicable strategies and needs put forward by
Vaishali Digital Press’ staff. Through the website, potential clients can gain insights about the
company and its quality policy, view past projects, and contact Vaishali Digital Press.
Overall, the website provides best experience with an effective tool to reach more customers,
market their brand, make sales, and build trust.
