JOIN IRAQ’S PREMIER FLA GSHIP WORKSHOP
FOR THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY
Iraq, with its 5th largest proven oil and gas reserves worldwide, is a broad campaign in
exploration, drilling, and production activities to meet its economic and energy demand
and contribute to the growing global energy demands. As one of the oldest producers in
the Middle East, Iraq's production is a dynamic and strategic endeavor requiring
leveraging advanced technologies and industry best practices to improve operational
efficiency. The country's commitment to environmental stewardship necessitates
integrated approaches among operators, service providers, and technology developers to
address challenges, safeguard a sustainable future, and drive economic growth.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop aims to bring together decision-makers from Iraqi authorities,
operators, service providers, subject matter experts, researchers, and prospective
investors to address technical, environmental, and economic challenges in Iraq's field
developments and production operations. It aims to probe and foster new horizons and
opportunities for collaboration to operate mature and marginal fields and achieve
mutual growth for all stakeholders while disseminating knowledge about current
advancements in the industry. The event is organized by a committee of Iraqi and
foreign professionals, with support from Iraq's Ministry of Oil, affiliated entities, and
working IOCs and service companies. The theme will include strategic panel
sessions, technology/solutions demonstrations by technical presentations (not full
papers), and breakdown sessions. The event is a great opportunity for local and
international companies to seize opportunities for cooperation and investment in the
Iraqi oil and gas industry.
