University of Illinois College of Education, Special Education Desired minor in Spanish. August 2009 to present Addison Trail High School, Addison, IL. September 2006-May 2009 Experience Related to Career Objectives: NEDSRA- Inclusion buddy to a 9 year old child with Autism and ADHD at a 2011, 2012 summer day camp. Developmental Services Center- Worked with a Developmental Therapist in 2012 Early Intervention to provide therapy for children up to age 3 and support for their families. Tutor- Tutoring at Edison Middle School three days a week for two hours at a time. 2010 Working one-on-one with many students as well as in the class. Colorado Leadership Training- This program trains college students across the Summer 2010 country to become leaders and examples within and outside their church. Best Buddies Chapter President- Best Buddies is a national organization where 2007-2009 regular education students get paired up with students in special education. They participate in activities one-on-one and as an entire chapter. Glenkirk- Helped adults with disabilities at Glenkirk Christmas event two years 2007-2008 in a row. Glenkirk is an organization that helps individuals with disabilities and provides lifetime supports and services. Activities: Illini Life- Illini Life is a Christian group on campus that meets every Tuesday, 2009-present Wednesday and Saturday in different settings with different size groups. Small Group Leader in Illini Life- Create and mediate discussions for a group of 2011-present about 15 students. Meet weekly with the members of the small group to build trust and deep relationships. Treasurer of Illini Life- Work closely with the Registered Student Organization 2009-present staff to make deposits, submit building request forms, and plan events. Community Service: Service Trip to North Champaign, IL Worked on construction of a playground March 2012 and leveled concrete. Also spent a few days living in a building that provides shelter for the homeless in order to reach out to the families and children

there.

Service Trip to Memphis, TN- Worked on construction of a house as well as March 2011 supported and became friends with the family that lived there. Feed My Starving Children- Volunteered by helping put together boxes of 2008,2009,2010 dried food to be shipped to needy countries.

Work Experience: YMCA of the Rockies-Worked in housekeeping at Estes Park, CO. Summer 2010 Culver's Restaurant- Worked as a cashier, drive-thru attendant. 2007-2010 Honors: James Scholar- University of Illinois-2009-2011 Illinois State Scholar- Addison Trail High School- 2009 National Honor Society- Addison Trail High School -2008-2009 Distinct Honor Roll- Addison Trail High School- 2005-2009
