Experience Related to Career Objectives: NEDSRA- Inclusion buddy to a 9 year old child with Autism and ADHD at a summer day camp. 2011, 2012 Developmental Services Center- Worked with a Developmental Therapist in Early Intervention 2012 to provide therapy for children up to age 3 and support for their families. Tutor- Tutoring at Edison Middle School three days a week for two hours at a time. 2010 Working one-on-one with many students as well as in the class. Colorado Leadership Training- This program trains college students across the country Summer 2010 to become leaders and examples within and outside their church. Best Buddies Chapter President- Best Buddies is a national organization where regular 2007-2009 education students get paired up with students in special education. They participate in activities one-on-one and as an entire chapter. Glenkirk- Helped adults with disabilities at Glenkirk Christmas event two years in a row. 2007-2008 Glenkirk is an organization that helps individuals with disabilities and provides lifetime supports and services. Activities: Illini Life- Illini Life is a Christian group on campus that meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday in different settings with different size groups. Small Group Leader in Illini Life- Create and mediate discussions for a group of about 15 students. Meet weekly with the members of the small group to build trust and deep relationships. Treasurer of Illini Life- Work closely with the Registered Student Organization staff to make deposits, submit building request forms, and plan events.

Community Service: Service Trip to North Champaign, IL Worked on construction of a playground and March 2012 leveled concrete. Also spent a few days living in a building that provides shelter for the homeless in order to reach out to the families and children there. Service Trip to Memphis, TN- Worked on construction of a house as well as supported March 2011 and became friends with the family that lived there. Feed My Starving Children- Volunteered by helping put together boxes of dried food to 2008,2009,2010 be shipped to needy countries. Work Experience: YMCA of the Rockies-Worked in housekeeping at Estes Park, CO. Culver's Restaurant- Worked as a cashier, drive-thru attendant.
