A. Preliminary -What was our last topic?


Activities -In our previous lesson, you have learned about living and non-living things.
-And what are the living and non-living things?

f. Motivation

The teacher will show the video about the “LIVING THINGS” and the pupils
will sing together the video and after the video presentation the teacher will
ask some questions to pupils on what they observe in the video presented.

Activities
Group 1 will give only 3 pets in their homes and tell what kinds of
Animals it is and what they need to give their pets to keep them healthy
and alive.

Group 2 will give only 3 plants that they see in their surrounding and
what kinds of plants it is and what they need to give them to keep them
alive, fresh, and green?

B. Analysis

The teacher will show some pictures and the pupils will analyze it.
(Teacher will ask some questions to the pupils)

C. Abstraction

To sum up the lesson, the teacher will ask the following questions
whether the students truly understand the lesson.

-What are the basic needs of living things?


-Do living things have the same basic needs?
-Why it is important?

Direction: Choose the correct word in the sentence.
1.All living things need (air, water) to drink.

3.All living things require (shelter, sunlight) to live in.
4.All living plants need (food, sunlight) for making its food.
5.All living things need to breath (water, air).
