learn some new words and important expressions/phrases/sentence structures in the listening
material. As you can see, on the left part of this PPT, there are some words related with XX, and
on the right part, there are some pictures/meanings. Can you match the words on the left with the

answer is almost right, but there is a small mistake. Did you find it? En, the first word is
“knowledgeable”(在黑板上板书写上这个单词), this word means “知识渊博的”, it is the
adjective form of acknowledge. And the second word is “airport”, before I tell you the meaning of
this word, I think we can combine what we have learned with what we are going to learn today. I
will give you some hints, when we say “by air” in English it means “乘飞机”，and “air” is related
with “飞机”, and “port” is a place where we park a ship or other vehicles. So, class, after you have
understood these, can anyone tell me the Chinese meaning of this word? Lily, please, yes, very
good. It means “飞机场” in Chinese. So, this can be matched with this picture/meaning, and this
word represents XX, and this is a picture about XX.

Next, let’s see some important sentence structures on the screen. The first one is “it
