EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Internship program is the best thing for students to change their theoretical knowledge that get
from class by different course into practical knowledge and to faces the real world situation
before taking a serious commitment. This internship uses to minimize company’s cost used to
Train workers after they graduated and employed. It also helps students to develop different
skill like practical, interpersonal communication, entrepreneur, and leadership skills.
During my internship period in OSUICT, for a period of two months (July 08, 2025-September
05, 2025), I have been working in different section of the Campus but during my stay I focus
on sections that are related to my field computer Science. I have adapted a lot of social
interaction with all Co-workers of the company and identified problems and discussed on the
solutions and also I have participated in network installation of different material within the
company. Beside to this I have given some recommendations to the company.

ABSTRACT
This report is about to explain what I did and learned during my internship period at Oromia
state university in information communication technology ICT center. As the main purpose of
internship is to learn by working in practical environment and to apply the knowledge acquired
during the studies in a real world scenario in order to tackle the problems using the knowledge
and skill learned during the academic process. I have discussed about every major aspect of the
organization network, which I observed and perceived during my internship program this report
is divided in to four sections. Section one will discuss as introduction of internship and about the
background of Oromia state university in information communication technology ICT center. In
section two will get the overall activities during internship experience of Organization network
design overview and creating LAN network. Section three the some challenges during internship.
Section four the overall benefits I gained from during the internship program. The last section is

conclusion and recommendations of the previous sections which Oromia state university in
information communication technology ICT center.

Oromia state University, as an IT center, is an institution that focuses on providing specialized
education and training in the field of Information Technology (IT). Located in Batu, Oromia, it is
recognized for its comprehensive IT programs and its commitment to producing skilled
professionals in the rapidly evolving field of technology. The IT centre at Queens College offers
a wide range of courses and certifications that cover various aspects of IT, including computer
programming, software development, networking, cyber security, database management, and
web development. These programs are designed to The IT centre at Queens College boasts a
team of highly qualified and experienced instructors who are experts in their respective fields.
They are dedicated to delivering quality education and providing guidance to students throughout
their academic journey. The faculty members keep themselves updated with the latest trends and
