Important Note/instructions for the Candidates.
1. VISIT THE CENTRE BEFORE THE EXAMINATION TO CONFIRM THE LOCATION OF CENTRE.
2. Candidates are advised to reach at the examination centre at least 2 hours 10 minute before the exam start to complete the compulsory frisking with metal, detector, biometric data
capturing and other formalities well before the time. Entry will be closed one hour prior to the commencement of examination.
3. Use only black ball point pen for giving answers on OMR sheet. Candidates will be allowed to carry with them only the following items into the examination hall/room: 1- Centre copy of
coloured admit card, 2- Black ball point pen, 3- Original photo identity card as given during registration/ mentioned on admit card.
4. Candidate without coloured admit card or coloured admit card having distorted/tampered photograph shall not be allowed to appear in the examination.
5. A copy of coloured admit card (centre copy) will have to be submitted at the examination centre with the same coloured photograph as uploaded at the time of registration duly attested
by a gazetted officer.
6. Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the examination centre under any circumstances: All ornaments like ring, earrings, chain/necklace, pendants, badge and
brooch etc. Any metallic item, camera, watch, calculator, mobile phone, pager, Bluetooth, earphones, purse, log tables, health band, electronic gadgets with or without built-in-calculators,
geometry/plastic pouch and blank or printed papers, written chits etc. Candidate must note that no arrangement will be made at the centre for keeping any articles/items belonging to the
candidates.
7. Women candidates can wear mangal sutra, bindi & sindoor, Baptized Sikh candidates are allowed to wear religious symbols.
8. The candidate has to show his/her coloured admit card to the Invigilator/board's appointed officials as and when required.
9. In case the impersonation criminal action will be initiated against the impersonator as well as the candidate.
10. Candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall only after handing over his/her OMR sheet to the Invigilator after the conclusion of test.
11. If a candidate is found using any kind of unfair means his/her result will be cancelled and he/she may also be disqualified in addition to other legal action initiating against him/her. All
candidates will be directly under CCTV surveillance from the board HQ during the examination.
12. The differently abled candidates, including blind candidates, who are unable to write with their own hands, may be given compensatory time of 50 minutes in each paper of HTET-2024.
Differently abled candidates who are making use of scribe will also be given compensatory time of 50 minutes facility of scribe may be allowed to any person who has disability of 40%
and above In visual impaired category or unable to write with their own hand, if so desired by the person. The candidate may be permitted for opting of his own scribe or may be provided
by the board's office or centre superintendent on his/her request. Such candidates are advised to contact board's office during the office hours ie.-09:00am to 04:30 pm minimum seven
days before the examination or to contact centre superintendent during 01:00 pm to 04:00pm two days before the examination. The educational qualification of the scribe shall not be
higher than Sr. Sec. Such candidates have to fill SPL-1 form (For Scribe and Compensatory time)/SPL-2 (Only for compensatory time) with appendix-G form (Forms are available on board's
website).
