Core 1
INSTALL AND CONFIGURE COMPUTER SYSTEMS

*********CLIENT PC
Insert Ventoy/Bootable Drive before you power the computer
Power on and Click “Delete” numerous times until you enter BIOS Setup
Click Boot > Boot Option 1 > Click “UEFI: (the name of your flashdrive)”
Save and Exit

Wait to be redirected to the Ventoy Setup (Keyboard is used in this setup)


Select your operating system “Windows 10” then enter > Boot normally or Normal Boot

Select “English (Philippines)” for Language and Currency > Next


Click Install > Click “I don’t have a product key”
Select “Windows 10 Pro” > Next
Click the “I accept the license terms” check box > Next
Select “Custom: Install Windows Only (advance)” > Next

Delete the Partitions (if applicable)


Click the Drive with the biggest GB > Click New
Partition it to 40%
(ex. The 40% of 465 GB is 186 GB) you must type it like this “186000” > Apply
Click the Unallocated Space/Drive > New > Apply
You must click the Closest number to your computed 40%​
(ex. 40% is 186 GB, you must click the 181 GB shown in the screen) > Apply > Next

Wait until the Installation is finished

NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE THE FLASHDRIVE YET

Region “Philippines”
Keyboard Layout “US”
Second Keyboard Layout “Skip”
Name “CLIENT”
Password (no password just click Next or hit Enter)

Accept Privacy Settings

NOTE: YOU CAN REMOVE THE FLASHDRIVE NOW

Sign in to CLIENT
Password (there is no Password so just click Enter)

Settings > System > About > Rename this pc (advanced)


Click “Change” > Change Computer name to “CLIENT”
Change Workgroup to “CSS” > Ok > Ok > Ok
Click Close > A pop up will ask you to Restart > Click “Restart Now”

The PC will Restart

Sign in again to CLIENT


Password (there is no Password so just click Enter)

Search “CMD” > Type “ipconfig /all”


Check if the Name is “CLIENT”

*********SERVER PC
Insert Ventoy/Bootable Drive before you power the computer
Power on and Click “Delete” numerous times until you enter BIOS Setup
Click Boot > Boot Option 1 > Click “UEFI: (the name of your flashdrive)”
Save and Exit

Wait to be redirected to the Ventoy Setup (Keyboard is used in this setup)


Select your operating system “Windows Server 2019 > Boot normally or Normal Boot

Select “English (Philippines)” for Language and Currency > Next


Click Install > Select “Standard Evaluation (Desktop Experience)” > Next
Click the “I accept the license terms” check box > Next
Select “Custom: Install Windows Only (advance)” > Next

Delete the Partitions (if applicable)


Click the Drive with the biggest GB > Click New
Partition it to 40%
(ex. The 40% of 465 GB is 186 GB) you must type it like this “186000” > Apply
Click the Unallocated Space/Drive > New > Apply
You must click the Closest number to your computed 40%​
(ex. 40% is 186 GB, you must click the 181 GB shown in the screen) > Apply > Next

Customize Settings:​
User name : “Administrator”
Password : “CSS@12345”
ReenterPassword : “CSS@12345”

Sign in:​
Administrator
CSS@12345

Settings > System > About > System Info


Under “Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings” > Click “Change Settings”
Click “Change”
Change Computer name to “SERVER”
Change Workgroup to “CSS” > Ok > Ok > Ok
Click Close > A pop up will ask you to Restart > Click “Restart Now”

The PC will Restart

Sign in again
Administrator
CSS@12345

Search “CMD” > Type “ipconfig /all”


Check if the Name is “SERVER”

**If no, you need to redo it from “Settings > System > About > System Info”​

**If yes, you may proceed to Core 3

SETUP COMPUTER NETWORKS

Setup ng Cables lahat

******Client/Server PC

Open Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an App or
feature

If hindi na checheck, click Change setting:

Check Both Public and Private of:


1. File and Printer Sharing
2. Netlogon Service
3. Network Discovery
4. Remote Desktop
5. Windows Defender Firewall Remote Management
6. Windows Remote Management

Then Click Ok

At the lower left > click Network Sharing Center > Change Advance Sharing Settings > Turn
on lahat maliban sa Password Sharing

Save

Next

Windows Task Bar > Search Services sa Taskbar (gagawing Automatic)


*Right click ung pangalan
*Automatic
*Start (if not clickable Apply na agad)
*Apply
*OK

The ff are the ones to be automated:


1. Function Discovery Provider Host
2. Function Discovery Resource Publication Properties
3. SSDP Discovery
4. UPnP Device Host
**********For both Server and Client

Open CMD > ipconfig

Wag isara ang unang CMD

New CMD > type whats below

ping IPv4ngKabilangPC -t

Then sabay silang i-enter

Example:

Server (ping 192.168.1.134 -t)

Client (ping 192.168.81.135 -t)

To check kung successful dapat may reply na lumalabas sa CMD:

Open din File explorer > Network > Dapat kita and Client at Server for both PC

Next is yung Network Configuration na


Close mo na lahat yan kung tapos kana sa steps above :>

Wifi name: (FIRSTNAME)

DHCP Range: 10 Devices
Start: (example below check yaung pattern)
End: (example below check yung pattern)
Reserved IP
Wireless Access Point: (Yung “Start” IP Address)
Server: (Yung Next Number after “Start” IP Address)
Mac Filtering: 1 Phone

Static IP: (Yung “Start” IP Address)
Wifi name: (LASTNAME)
Wifi Password: CSS@12345”​

Setup Password: CSS@12345

_______On the Microsoft Edge (Router “Blue” Website):


Under Network > LAN > Change IP Address (Ito yung binigay ng Leader/Assessor)
Save

Magrereboot yan
After reboot > CMD “ipconfig /release && ipconfig /renew” > Copy NEW Default Gateway
Dapat yung DEFAULT GATEWAY mo is yung Naka assign sayo na IP ADDRESS ​
(ex. 10.10.10.5 )

Paste on Browser and Enter​


Sign in Password: CSS@12345

Under Wireless > Basic Settings


Change Wireless Network Name (SSID) “FIRSTNAME” > Save
Under Wireless > Wireless Security > Change Wireless Password “CSS@12345”
Save

Balik sa Browser > Under DHCP​


Replace Start IP Address and End IP Address > Save
Under DHCP > Address Reservation > Add new​

Search/Open New CMD > type “getmac” > Copy MAC/Physical Address

Balik sa Browser > Under DHCP > Address Reservation > Add new​
Paste “MAC/Physical Address of CLIENT” (Make sure nakaColon : )​
Example (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX)​

IP Address “Look at Notepad and find yung IP for W.A.P.” > Save
******SERVER PC
Open CMD > type “getmac”
Copy MAC/Physical Address of SERVER to Notepad of CLIENT
Replace the “-” of MAC with “:”

*******CLIENT PC
Balik sa Browser > Under DHCP > Address Reservation > Add new
Paste “MAC/Physical Address of SERVER” (Make sure nakaColon : )
IP Address “Look Notepad and find yung IP for SERVER” > Save

_______On the Microsoft Edge (WAP “RED” Website):
Disconnect ROUTER from the Switch Hub​
Look at the WAP, it is plugged in the WAN Port (This is its original Position)
Transfer the Connected Wire to the LAN Port

Open CMD > type “Ipconfig /release && ipconfig /renew”


This will give you a different DEFAULT GATEWAY > Copy it and Paste it in the Browser

***If it asks for you to Log In > Reboot/Restart the WAP (You need a Pen to press the button
inside)

***If it asks for you to Setup the Password > Type “CSS@12345”

***I forgot which comes first but do the ff below:
-​ Scroll Down and Skip
-​ Set the Name “YOURLASTNAME” and the Password “CSS@12345”

Go to “Advanced” > Network > LAN


Change the IP Address to “What was the IP assigned for the WAP in the Notepad” > Save

After saving, you will be disconnected from the website

_______On the Microsoft Edge (Router “Blue” Website):


Reconnect the ROUTER to the Switch Hub
Look at the WAP, it is plugged in the LANPort
Transfer the Connected Wire to the WAN Port (This is its original Position)

Open CMD > type “Ipconfig /release && ipconfig /renew”


This will give you back your Assigned DEFAULT GATEWAY
Copy it and Paste it in the Browser

Go to DHCP > Client List

***********Phone for MAC FILTERING​


Connect your phone to the Router (FIRSTNAME)
*******CLIENT PC
Copy Your Phone’s MAC ADDRESS or the Unknown Device
Go to Wireless > MAC FILTERING > Enable > Select “Deny”
Add > Paste your phone’s MAC ADDRESS > Description “Phone”
Enable > Save

Go to DHCP > Client List


Check if the Phone/Unknown device is in the List​

**If yes, you might have typed the incorrect MAC ADDRESS​

**If no, you may proceed to Core 3
