Crochet abbreviations (US):
MR – magic ring (for the textured yarn, crochet, as follows: chain 2 and make 6 sc into the second chain)
CH - chain
SC – single crochet
SL ST – slip stitch
HDC half double crochet
INC – increase
DEC – decrease
BLO – back loops only
FLO – front loops only
(SC, INC)*n – repeat as required in the brackets n-times.
The number in the brackets is the total number of stitches in the round.

Pieces are crocheted in a spiral without making a turning

chain, unless otherwise stated in the pattern.

Use a stitch marker (a thread or a pin) to indicate the last

stitch in a round and the first stitch of the next round.

You will need to work shift stitches to keep the marker even
at the point indicated in the pattern.

Shift stitches - additional SC, which are not indicated in the

pattern and are not included in the total amount of stitches
in a round.
Cotter pin mount for legs
Put on a disk under the head of a cotter pin. Insert the mount into the leg.

There should be no fiberfill between the fabric and the disc. Insert the cotter pin into the body, put the disc
on the antennae of the cotter pin, and twist them in different directions.

Twist the antennae as tight as possible. The antennae should be parallel to the disc, align with thin nose
pliers if necessary.

The duck is ready. Crochet a cute outfit.
Dress
Try the dress on the duck as you crochet. Increase or decrease the number of stitches according to your toy.

Chain 32 (+ 1 turning chain). The length of the chain matches the circumference above the wings. I leave a
long yarn tail to make a button loop (chain it).

Crochet the dress in back and forth rows. Chain 1 at the beginning of each row.

Row 1 (start crocheting in the second chain from hook): 32 sc

Mark the points of the wings.

Row 2: 5 sc, chain 12 (the width of the wing is at the widest point). Skip 6 sc from the first round (between the
points), 9 sc, chain 12 (skip 6 sc), 5 sc (43 sc)
Rows 3-4: 43 sc
Row 5: 4 sc, inc, 11 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 11 sc, inc, 4 sc (48 sc)

Distribute increases as follows: 2 before the wing on the back and 3 in the front. If there is an odd number of
stitches in the 2nd row - make 5 increases, if even, then 6 increases

Row 6: 48 sc
Row 7: (7 sc, inc)*6 (54 sc)
Row 8: 54 sc
Row 9: (5 sc, inc)*9 (63 sc)
Row 10: 63 sc

Rows 12-14: 72 sc

Fasten off and break yarn.

Crochet around the bottom of the dress and sleeves (along the skipped sc in the 2nd row) as follows:
(1 sc, chain 3, 1sc) in one stitch.

Fasten off and break yarn.

Sew the button and decorate the dress to your taste. I embroidered small daisies as guided by the pattern.
Cap
Crochet the cap in back and forth rows. Chain 1 in each row.

The chain from shoulder to shoulder, in multiples of 3.

I made 54 chains + 1 turning chain.

Row 1: 54 sc

Crochet all the next rows through the back loops of the previous row.
Rows 2-9: 54 sc

Crochet the required number of rows to the top. Divide the part into 3 equal parts and crochet only the
central part. There is no need to make a turning chain anymore.

Row 10: 18 sc, 1 sc after the marker, turn the work, and continue crocheting in the back direction.
Row 11: 17 sc, dec (decrease through the central and side stitches)

Turn the work and repeat the sequence of the 11th row until you have crocheted to the bottom.
Fasten off and break yarn.

Chain 50 (for the ties). Crochet around the bottom part of the cap with slip stitches. Chain 50 for the second
tie.

Fasten off and break yarn.
