ARTICLES
There are 26 letters in the English alphabet
Some letters stand for sounds that can be spoken alone, they are a, e, i ,o, u .They are called vowels.
The other letters cannot be spoken alone. They are called consonants.
A is used before nouns beginning with a consonant.
Articles are an, a and the.
Eg. Book, crow, baby, school, church, city, dog, bird are all called nouns which are common so when we
use them we will write them as A book, A Crow.
All these nouns mean only one.
All these nouns begin with a consonant, an is used before nouns beginning with a vowel
     An apple       An egg             An island                  An orange          An umbrella
An is also used before nouns beginning with a silent h For example: an hour.
