ANNOUNCEMENTS SUNDAY APRIL 9.

ENTRY.

Dear brothers, this is a day of celebration. Christ has risen and this
it is the victory that we solemnly celebrate with the entire Church. Christ
he is alive!
This is Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord, a
celebration filled with immense joy, caused by our
hope in eternal life: if through baptism we have died
with Christ to sin, we know that we will also rise with Him.
Let us then prepare ourselves, with a new heart full of light, to
celebrating these sacred mysteries, standing up and chanting the
entrance song.
BIBLE ENTRY.
Let us receive brothers with great respect for the sacred scriptures, to
our Holy Bible, which contains the great teachings of our
God. With all due respect, we receive the Word of God.
PROCLAMATION OF FAITH.

In the Holy Scriptures, there is the eternal Word of the Father that us
guides and nourishes us in our life as believers. With one voice we make
our proclamation of Faith to the Eternal Word.
YOUR WORD IS RESURRECTION
YOUR WORD IS LIFE
YOUR WORD IS LOVE
YOUR WORD IS SACRIFICE

Now, we bow our heads, and together as brothers, we say with life
voice:

BLESS YOUR PEOPLE, LORD, WITH YOUR WORD.

------------------song-----------------
We can sit down to attentively listen to the word of God.

FIRST READING In the book of the Acts of the Apostles we

we meet today with those first Christians who were the
"community of the Risen Jesus". The passage we read today is the
testimony of Peter, in the house of the pagan Cornelius, about the resurrection
of Christ. Let us listen.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM - The psalm for this Sunday couldn't be

another than the 117, the most 'Paschal' of the Psalter. Let us express our
joy and our delight saying:
SECOND READING - From the letters of Saint Paul to the Colossians
let's listen to a brief but dense and stimulating passage to seek the
things from above, after having experienced the resurrection with
Christ Jesus. Let's listen attentively.

SEQUENCE - We are going to listen to the sequence of the Easter Mass.

a beautiful very old hymn that tells in few words
the whole mystery of the Resurrection and the salvation of humanity.
BEFORE THE GOSPEL. The Gospel of Saint John presents to us today
the first witnesses of the Resurrection of Christ, who found
the empty tomb on the first day of the week. Let us now attend to the
message of the savior that constitutes the foundation of our faith and of our life
Christian: the Resurrection of the Lord. We sing the hallelujah. Stand up.

ACCLAMATION. Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed;

let us celebrate, then, Easter.
OFFERING.. Christ has risen and lives among us;
let us now present the offerings of bread and wine, and with them our
lives so that it may allow us one day to enjoy the glory of his resurrection.
Seated.
COMMUNION. The risen Christ is offered in the Bread and the Wine,
converted into His Body and His Blood. Let us now approach to receive Him.
