To address these challenges, measures such as promoting local accents and teaching English alongside identity changes are suggested.

Global English has entered a crisis over several terms.

One of the most familiar

ways to represent the global community of English speakers is to use three
circles: inner circle (native speaker), outer circle (second language speaker), and
expanding circle (foreign language user). This division has had certain effects on
native speakers. The first problem that native speakers encounter is that native
speaker models are less useful. Because of the development of technology as
well as to ensure the application of English in life, English today has become
less formal and more democratic, no longer following too strict traditional
standards or patterns. Another problem is that native speakers may be a
hindrance. The last problem is that alternatives are becoming available.
Therefore, it is necessary to have certain measures to protect and develop the
mother tongue such as: Speak English with a local accent and teaching English
and identity change
