Cụ thể
- Có 9 chủ ngữ (S): I/ you/ we/ they/ she/ he/ it/ S số ít và S số nhiều
- Có 5 động từ tobe là is, am, are, was, were, còn lại là động từ thường, kí hiệu là V
- Có 3 trợ động từ là do, does, did đc sinh ra dành cho V trong câu (-) và câu (?)
- Có 8 động từ khuyết thiếu là: can – could: có thể, may – might: có lẽ, will – would: sẽ, should: nên,
must: phải. Tất cả các ĐTKT + V nguyên thể
Chủ ngữ (trước V) Tân ngữ (sau V) của…+ danh từ = S/O của…đứng một mình

Cách phát âm khi thêm –s/es vào sau động từ hoặc danh từ:
V/N_s/es /s/ khi từ kết thúc = /p, t, k ,f (ph, gh), θ(th)/ helps
/iz/ khi từ kết thúc = /ch, s (ce), x, ge, z, sh/ watches
/z/ khi từ kết thúc = phụ âm còn lại + nguyên âm (ơ uể oải) goes
Cách nhớ mẹo : phở tôi không fải thế (f = ph, gh)
