Good morning, I am SANTIAGO RINCÓN, I present my project.

Knowing Our Venezuelan Landscapes: Angel Falls.

Angel Falls, as it is known internationally, is the waterfall of


highest water in the world. It has a height of 979 meters. (807 meters of
uninterrupted fall), generated from the Auyantepuy, this is what it's called
tepuy (mountains with flat summits), from where it emerges.

Angel Falls is named after the man who discovered it.

LOCATION
This imposing and majestic waterfall is located in the Park

CLIMATE

Its climate is tropical, with frequent rain. The period most


the dry season of the year (when the waterfalls may be just a drip) is between
January to April, while the rainiest is between May and December.

TOURISM

There are two ways to see Angel Falls. One of them is from the air, in
small plane and the other is on an excursion that departs from the Ucaima port
in Canaima, and lasts more than 3 hours navigating the Carrao River and
Then through the Churún. From the Churún river to the viewpoint of the waterfall
Angel, you have to walk for about an hour through the jungle.

Near Angel Falls there are places for tourists to


staying during your visit to the region, the most well-known are El
Canaima Town, Kavak Community and Uruyén Community, in
Venezuela. There are tour operators that offer various packages.

The town of Canaima is perhaps the most visited within the park.
Canaima National Park is somewhat of a tourist complex of
extraordinary beauty, it has the only airport with an asphalt runway

they attract the attention of tourists, such as waterfalls and smaller jumps
height, but equally beautiful: Aponguao, Kukenan, Kamarata, the
Danto and Tarota, among others of interest such as ancestral culture and the
gastronomy typical of the area, besides the beautiful and varied flora and
fauna that can be seen.
