dikarenakan kecelakaan.
Bengkok atau patah.
o Periksa level oli steering
saat engine mati dan
bandingkan dengan level
setelah engine hidup.
Laporkan ke foreman jika
level oli tidak mau turun ke
level yang benar pada sight
glass bagian bawah ketika
engine hidup.

Walk around and under the machine
and inspect for the following:
o Loose, missing or broken
bolts, fasteners and clamps.
o Leaks of oil, fuel, and
coolant and from the
exhaust. Listen for and
identify air system leaks.
o Check for any damage from
accident. Bent or broken
parts.
o Check steering tank oil level
and compare to level after
starting. Report to foreman if
level doesn‟t drop to correct
level in the bottom sight
glass.

Test Air conditioner Operation. Install the manifold gauge set

During normal operation of the air
conditioning system in 21 °C (70 °F)
weather, the discharge pressure will
be 820 kPa (120 psi) to 1300 kPa
(190 psi). The suction side pressure
will be 70 kPa (10 psi) to 130 kPa (20
psi).

6. Tes Kemampuan Daya

WARNING
Ensure all personnel are clear of the
machine before commencing this Parking Brake
test.

 Pindahkan parking brake control


lever ke posisi "applied". Pindah
transmission lever ke gear 1 maju.
Naikkan engine speed sampai unit
mulai bergerak. Catat RPM saat unit
mulai bergerak pada task record.
Move the lever of parking brake
valve to the "applied" position. Move
the transmission lever to the 1st
gear position. Increase engine
speed until the machine starts to
move. Record the RPM in the task
record.

9. Cek Engine RPM Ketika Torque
PERINGATAN
Converter Stall.
Engine RPM @ Torque Pastikan semua orang jauh dari truk
Converter Stall sebelum memulai tes ini.
WARNING
Ensure all personnel are clear of the
machine before commencing this
test.

PERINGATAN
Dilarang Menahan Torque
Converter dalam kondisi Stall,
dalam Jangka waktu yang lama.
Kerusakan Bisa Terjadi Pada,
Torque Converter, Engine dan
Brake.
WARNING
Do not keep the Torque Converter
in a stall condition for long periods
of time. Damage could occur in the
Torque Converter, the Engine and
the Brake.

 Aktifkan rem parkir dan retarder,


pindahkan lever transmisi ke arah
mundur, injak pedal gas sampai full
untuk menaikan engine RPM.
Tahan dalam kondisi TC stall
maksimum 10 detik. Catat RPM
engine dari dash tacho.
Apply parking brake and retarder,
move the transmission lever to
reverse gear, steadily increase
engine speed until full throttle is
reached. Hold @ stall for max 10
seconds. Read off engine RPM from
dash tacho.

Spec:
Torque Converter Stall Speed1718 ±
65 RPM

10. Tes performance dari Hoist


PERINGATAN
Cylinder
Test Hoist Cylinder Performance Sebelum pengetesan, naikkan body
dan cek “ Sisa Muatan” di dalam
body. Kirim kembali truk ke bagian
produksi untuk dibersihkan jika
terdapat sisa muatan.
WARNING
Before testing the hoist
performance, raise the body and
check for “Carry Back” inside the
body. Send machine back to
production for removal if carry back
present.

 Tahan engine RPM pada high idle,


naikkan body dari posisi paling
bawah sampai paling atas. Catat
waktu yang diperlukan untuk
mengangkat body dari bawah
sampai atas. Bandingkan dengan
spesifikasi.
Holding the engine at high idle,
raise the body from the fully down
position to fully up. Time the cycle
from bottom to top. Compare to the
specification.

Spesifikasi : sekitar 19 detik.


Spec: approximately 19
seconds.

11. Test Operasi Dari TCS  Untuk mengetes Traction Control
Test TCS Operation System (TCS) ikuti langkah berikut:
o Cari area yang luas dan
rata. Di area ini, belokkan
truk dengan satu putaran
penuh. Hidupkan engine
dan jalankan truk dengan
gigi satu maju.
o Putar kemudi ke kiri sampai
maksimum. Dengan engine
low idle, jalankan truk pada
satu putaran penuh.
o Terus belokkan truk dan
tekan tes switch TCS.
Tahan tes switch kebawah. TCS Switch
Ini akan memulai tes. Truk
secara bertahap akan
melambat.
o Lepas tes switch. Tes akan
berakhir dan kecepatan truk
akan bertambah.
o Putar kemudi kekanan
sampai maksimum. Dengan
engine low idle, jalankan
truk pada satu putaran
penuh.

To test the Traction Control System
(TCS) follow this procedure:
o Find a clear area and a level
area. In this area, turn the
machine in a complete
circle. Start the machine and
move the transmission
direction and speed control
lever to the first gear
Forward.
o Turn the steering wheel all
the way to the left. With the
engine at low idle, drive the
machine in a complete
circle.
o Continue to turn the
machine and push the top
half of test switch (1) for the
TCS. Hold test switch (1)
down. This will begin the
test. The machine will
gradually slow down.
o Release test switch (1). The
test will end and the
machine will increase
speed.
o Turn the steering wheel all
the way to the right. With the
engine at low idle, drive the
machine in a complete
circle.
o Continue to turn the
machine and push the top
half of test switch (1) for the
TCS. Hold test switch (1)
down. This will begin the
test. The machine will
gradually slow down.
o Release test switch (1). The
test will end and the
machine will increase
speed.

Jika TCS tidak berfungsi dengan

12. Tes operasi dari groud level


shutdown.  Ketika mesin digerakkan ke wash
Test Operation of Ground Level pad, jangan matikan engine dengan
Shutdown. kunci disconnect.
When machine is moved to the
wash pad, do not shut the engine off
by the key switch.

 Minta driver tetap di kabin dan


menuruni tangga. Naikkan penutup
saklar dan putar saklar ke posisi
shutdown Shutdown Switch
Have the driver stay in the cab and
climb down to the ground. Raise the
switch cover and turn the switch to
the shutdown position.

 Engine seharusnya mati


The engine should shut down.

 Dengarkan kebocoran oli steering


melalui rembesan solenoid
akumulator
Listen for steering oil leakage
through the accumulator blow down
solenoid.

 Minta driver memutar saklar kunci


ke posisi off kemudian tutup cover
pada ground level shutdown switch.
Have the driver turn the key switch
off then close the cover on the
ground level shutdown switch.

14. Cuci unit dari kotoran.

Hati – hati dan pastikan air tidak
masuk ke dalam exhaust sistem.
Jauhkan ujung penyemprot dari
bagian ujung knalpot yang terbuka.
WARNING
Extreme care must be taken to
ensure water doesn’t enter the
exhaust system. Keep the water jet
away from the open ends of the
exhaust

15. Cuci area-area khusus.


Wash specific areas.  Gunakan hand held hose, pastikan
area-area berikut dibersihkan:
Using hand held hoses, ensure the
following areas are clean:
o Pondasi Filter oli Engine dan
Filter bahan bakar
o Engine oil bases and Fuel
filter bases

o Air Dryer.
o Air dryer

o Steering valves.
o Steering valves

from the area inside the tube that
the driveshaft passes through. This
build-up can cause loading on the
driveshaft.

17. Periksa saklar disconnect.  Putar saklar disconnect dari off ke

18. Periksa Charging system


Check Charging System.  Matikan semua accessories, lampu,
AC dsb.
Turn off all accessories, lights,
Airconditioner, etc.

 Naikan RPM engine hingga kira kira


1700
Raise engine RPM to approximately
1700.

 Ukur voltage terminal baterry dan


bandingkan dengan spesifikasi
Measure the voltage across the
battery terminals and compare to
the specification.

 Jika di atas spesifikas, alternator


yang rusak.
If above specification, alternator is
faulty.

CATATAN
Jika di bawah spesifikasi kemudian
charging system harus diperiksa
dan diperbaiki.
NOTE
If below specification then the
charging system needs checking
and repair.

Spec: 26.5 – 28.5 Volts.

19. Periksa system electric starter.


Check Electric Starting System.  Periksa kecepatan engine cranking
dengan melakukan hal-hal sbb:
o Gerakkan saklar ground
leve shutdown ke posisi
shutdown.
o Putar kunci ke posisi on.
o Ketik 100 pada VIMS
keypad dan tekan gauge
key untuk menaikkan RPM
engine.
o Aktifkan key switch bypass

switch.
o Putar kunci ke posisi crank Shutdown Switch
dan baca putaran cranking.
o Bandingkan dengan
spesifikasi.
Check engine cranking speed by
doing the following:
o Move the ground level
shutdown switch to the
shutdown position.
o Turn the key switch to the
on position.
o Type 100 into the VIMS
keypad and press the gauge
key to bring up engine RPM.
o Activate the key switch
bypass switch.
o Turn the key to the crank
position and read off the
cranking speed.
o Compare to the
specification.

PERINGATAN
Pastikan semua personel tidak
berada di sekitar unit selama
prosedur pengetesan.
WARNING
Ensure all personnel are clear
during this test procedure.

CATATAN
Jika kecepatan cranking terlalu
rendah diperlukan pengecekan dan
perbaikan.
NOTE
If cranking speed is too low then
the starting system will need to
checked and repaired.

Spec: Minimum of 110 RPM

20. Periksa Fan Group


Inspect Fan Group  Periksa hub dan spider, Fan Drive,
Fan Idler pulley, dan Fan Blades
dan guards dari keretakan, rusak,
baut yang kendor dan pergeseran.
Inspect the fan hub and spider, fan
drive, Fan Idler pulley, Fan Blades
and Guards for cracks, damage,
loose bolts and movement.

21. Cek steering cycle time  Dengan engine low idle dan steer
Check the cycle time of the netral, hitung berapa detik lamanya
steering system. pompa steering mengambil waktu
untuk cycle antara cut out dan cut
in.
With the engine at low idle in neutral
or no steer, count the number of
seconds that it takes for the steering
pump will cycle between the cut out
and cut in condition.
Spec:
Steering harus berada pada posisi
stand by minimum selama 30 detik
Spec:
Steering should remain in standby
mode for a minimum of 30 seconds.

22. Periksa Main Drive Shaft


Inspect Main Drive Shaft  Periksa Main Drive Shaft dari
keretakan, rusak, baut yang kendor
dan pergeseran.
Inspect the Main Drive Shaft for
cracks, damage, loose bolts and
movement.

23. Cek kondisi bearing “A Frame”.


Check condition of the “A-frame”  Di bawah arahan dari Mekanik,
bearing. naikkan body ke posisi tinggi
maksimum. Kurangi engine speed
ke low idle, pastikan parking brake
masih engaged dan pindahkan
transmisi dari maju ke mundur
berulang – ulang. Cek kondisi
bearing “A Frame”.
Under direction from the Mechanic,
raise the body to full height. Reduce
the engine speed to low idle, ensure
the park brake is still engaged and
shift the transmission from forward
to reverse repeatedly. Check for
movement in the transmission “A-
frame” bearing.

PERINGATAN
Pekerjaan ini memerlukan mechanic
berada di bawah unit. Kewaspadaan
sangat diperlukan selama
melakukan pekerjaan ini.
WARNING
This operation requires the
mechanic to be under the truck.
Extreme caution must be used
during this operation.
Spesifikasi :
Catat kondisi sebagai “A” jika OK<1
mm, “B” jika keausan 1-5 mm, “C”
jika keausan lebih 5 mm
Spec:
Record condition as "A" for Ok
<1mm, "B" for 1 - 5mm wear, "C" for
over 5mm wear.

On direction from the Mechanic,
raise the body (approximately 10
cm) and lower again onto the body
pads. Do this repeatedly to check
for movement in the hoist cylinder
upper and lower bearings and for
movement in the body pivot pins.

26. Periksa kebocoran pada hoist


cylinder.  Periksa apakah ada kebocoran
Check leakage on hoist cylinder. pada kedua hoist cylinder. Apabila
terdapat kebocoran, isi sesuai rating
pada Task Record.
Check leakage on both hoist
cylinder. If leakage found, fill the
Task Record with rating of leakage.

27. Cek kondisi pivot pin dan


Bearing lateral control rod (dog  Di bawah arahan Mekanik, naikkan
bone) body ke posisi tinggi maksimum dan

pins and lateral control rod (dog 1200 RPM. Goyang steering

Under direction from the Mechanic,
raise the dump body to full height
then raise the engine speed to
approximately 1200 rpm. Rock the
steering vigorously and check for
movement in the body pivot pins
and differential lateral rod bearings.

Catat kondisi sebagai “A” jika OK<1
mm, “B” jika keausan 1-5 mm, “C”
jika keausan lebih 5 mm
Spec:
Record condition as "A" for Ok
<1mm, "B" for 1 - 5mm wear, "C" for
over 5mm wear.

28. Cek sistem udara dari

Tahan dalam kondisi TC stall
maksimum 10 detik. Catat RPM
engine dari dash tacho.
Apply parking brake and retarder,
move the transmission lever to
reverse gear, steadily increase
engine speed until full throttle is
reached. Hold @ stall for max 10
seconds. Read off engine RPM from
dash tacho.

During mechanical checks, carry out


the following checks on the
airconditioner:
o Check fan control switch
through all speed settings.
o Run engine above 1300
RPM.
o Turn the thermostat to
maximum cool setting.
o Turn fan switch to
maximum.
o Place a thermometer in the
air flow from the evaporator
(as close to the evaporator
as possible).
o Allow temperature to
stabilize for 5 minutes, then
compare to specification.

CATATAN
Semua pintu dan jendela harus
ditutup selama test.
Jika temperatur diluar spesifikasi
kemudian lanjutkan pengetesan dan
perbaikan akan di perlukan saat PM.
NOTE
All doors and windows need to
closed during this test.
If temperature is out of specification
then further testing and repair will
be required during the PM service.

259. Kembalikan unit ke Apron

260. Cek unit dari Kebocoran.

were done) for leaks.

261. Cek unit dari Hilang Atau


longgarnya Parts, Klem dan lain-  periksa semua area dari truk dan
Lain. Lakukan perbaikan jika lihat kondisi berikut:
diperlukan o Baut yang hilang atau
Check for Loose or Missing kendor.
Parts, Clamps, etc. Repair if o Hiilangnya klem atau
required pengikat.
o Hose yang bergesekan.
o Pembungkus kabel yang
bergesekan.
Inspect all areas of the machine and
look for the following:
o Loose or missing bolts.
o Missing clamps/fasteners
o Rubbing hoses
o Rubbing wiring harness
