1. Have you ever visited one of the heritages in our country?

Yes, I have. Last year, I visited the Imperial City of Hue. It was amazing to walk through the
old palaces and imagine what life was like during the Nguyen dynasty. It made me feel
proud of our culture.

2. Can you recommend any place to visit in your hometown?

Yes, I recommend visiting Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu for its beautiful beaches like Hồ Tràm and Long
Hải. You can also check out Núi Minh Đạm for hiking, and Thích Ca Phật Đài for culture. It's
a relaxing and scenic place

1 Do you prefer going to college or starting a job right after finishing school?
I prefer going to college because I want to gain more knowledge and have better job
opportunities in the future. Also, I think college life helps us grow and become more
mature.

2Are there any university/institution for higher education in your hometown?

Yes, there is. Bà Rịa has a branch of the University of Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu. It offers courses in
business, technology, and languages, which is really helpful for local students

1Can you cook for yourself?

Yes, I can. I’ve learned to cook some simple dishes like stir-fried vegetables, omelets, and
noodle soup. Cooking helps me become more self-reliant and is also a good way to relax
after a stressful day.

2Do you think it’s important to have an independent life?

Yes, it’s very important. Being independent means you can take care of yourself, make
decisions, and face challenges in life. It helps you grow and become more confident.

1.Have you ever suffered from depression?

I have not personally experienced depression, but I recognize that it is a serious mental
health condition that affects many individuals. I believe it's important to promote awareness
and provide support,.

2. What do you think is the most common social issue among teenagers?

I think one of the most common social issues among teenagers today is mental health,
particularly stress and anxiety. Many teens face pressure from school, social media, and
peer expectations, which can impact their emotional well-being

Topic 1: Describe the most important skill that you would like to get in the future. You
should say: - Which skill is it? - - Where do you get it? Why do you want to learn it?
One important skill I would like to gain in the future is public speaking.
I believe it plays a vital role in both personal and professional success. Being able to speak
clearly and confidently in front of an audience is something I truly admire in others, and I
would like to develop that ability myself.

To improve this skill, I plan to join communication workshops or public speaking clubs like
Toastmasters. I also want to take some online courses and practice through presentations
at school or in group discussions. I think the best way to improve is to step out of my
comfort zone and gain real experience.

The reason why I want to learn this skill is because I often feel nervous when speaking in
front of others, even if I know the topic well. By becoming better at public speaking, I can
express my ideas more effectively, build self-confidence, and connect with people more
easily. In the long term, this skill can also support my career, especially if I work in a field
where communication is key, such as business or education. Another reason I want to
learn this skill is because I’ve seen how powerful it can be. For example, when I watch TED
Talks or see successful people giving presentations, I notice how their words can move and
inspire others. It’s not just about having good content, but also knowing how to deliver it
in an engaging way. That’s something I really want to learn. I remember one time in
school, I had to give a presentation in front of the class. Even though I prepared well, I
couldn’t keep eye contact. That moment made me realize how important public speaking
is, and how much I need to improve it.

Overall, I believe public speaking is not just about talking—it’s about delivering your
message in a way that others can understand and be inspired by. That’s why it’s one of the
most important skills I hope to master in the future.

Topic 2: Describe a social issue that you or your friend faced. You should say: - Which social
issue was it? - - What happened? What did you do to deal with it?

One social issue that my friend faced in secondary school was school bullying.
It happened when we were in grade 8. My friend was a bit shy and didn’t talk much in
class. Some students started to tease him, calling him names and laughing at the way he
dressed. At first, it seemed like just a joke, but after a while, it became more serious and
hurtful.

He stopped smiling and often sat alone during breaks. I noticed he looked sad and didn’t
want to go to school sometimes. I felt really bad for him, so I tried to talk to him and be
there as a friend. I also told our homeroom teacher about the situation. At that time, I felt
really angry at the students who bullied him, even though I didn’t say anything directly to
them. I was also a bit afraid because I didn’t know if speaking up would make things
worse. But in the end, I realized that staying silent would only let the bullying continue.
I’m glad I made the decision to talk to our teacher

Luckily, our teacher handled it well. She talked to the students involved and also gave a
lesson about kindness and respect. After that, the bullying stopped, and my friend slowly
became more confident again.

That experience taught me that bullying can happen to anyone, and even a small action—
like being a good friend or telling a teacher—can help someone feel better and safer at
school. After that experience, I started paying more attention to how other students were
treated. I think schools should do more to prevent bullying by creating a safe and friendly
environment

Part 3

đề bạn đưa ra. Các câu trả lời được trình bày rõ ràng, mạch
lạc và mang tính phản biện để phù hợp với format Speaking
Part 3 của IELTS.

Chủ đề 1: Preserving our heritage – Part 3

1. Why is it important to preserve cultural heritage sites?
Preserving cultural heritage sites is important because
they reflect the identity and history of a nation. These
sites help us understand the traditions, values, and
stories of the past, and they also promote tourism,
which can benefit the economy. If we lose them, we risk
forgetting where we came from.
2. Do you think young people today care about traditional
culture and heritage? Why or why not?
It depends. Some young people are deeply interested in
their roots and actively participate in cultural events.
However, many are more focused on modern lifestyles
and global trends, which can lead to a disconnect from
their cultural heritage. This might be due to a lack of
education or limited exposure at school and in the
media.
3. Should students learn more about national heritage at
school?
Yes, definitely. Schools play a crucial role in shaping
students' understanding of their identity. Learning
about national heritage can foster pride and respect for
one's culture, and help students become more aware of
their responsibilities in preserving it.

Chủ đề 2: Becoming independent – Part 3

1. How can schools or parents help teenagers become
more independent?
Schools and parents can encourage independence by
giving teenagers responsibilities and letting them make
decisions. For example, allowing students to manage
their time, budget their money, or solve problems on
their own can build confidence and life skills.
2. Are there any disadvantages to becoming independent
too early?
Yes, becoming independent too early can lead to stress
or poor decision-making, especially if teenagers lack
maturity or support. They might feel overwhelmed by
responsibilities that they are not yet prepared to handle.

Chủ đề 3: Social issues – Part 3

1. What are the most serious social problems in your country
today?
Some major social issues include unemployment, income
inequality, and mental health problems. Additionally,
education gaps and domestic violence are still significant
problems that need more attention.
2. Why do you think mental health issues are becoming more
common among young people?
I believe it’s due to a combination of academic pressure, social
media influence, and a lack of emotional support. Many
teenagers feel isolated or anxious about their future, and they
often don’t know how to express or manage their emotions.
3. How can schools and families work together to prevent
bullying or social isolation?
They need to maintain open communication and create a
supportive environment. Schools should implement anti-
bullying programs and encourage inclusion, while families
should teach empathy and monitor their children’s behavior
and mental well-being.
4. What role does social media play in social problems among
teenagers?
Social media can be both helpful and harmful. On one hand, it
helps teens stay connected. On the other hand, it can cause
problems like cyberbullying, low self-esteem, or unrealistic
comparisons with others. It often creates pressure to look
perfect or fit in.

Chủ đề 4: Education options – Part 3

1. Why do some students choose to work instead of continuing
higher education?
Some students might not afford the cost of university or they
feel that getting work experience early will help them more in
the future. Others may not enjoy academic learning and prefer
practical, hands-on jobs.
2. How important is it for young people to choose the right career
path early?
It's helpful, but not essential. Having a clear direction early
can save time and resources. However, many people change
careers later in life, so it's also important to stay flexible and
open to learning new things.
3. Do you think practical skills or academic knowledge is more
important in today’s world?
Both are important, but practical skills are becoming more
valued in many industries. Employers often look for people
who can solve problems and adapt quickly, which may not
always come from academic knowledge alone.
