AIMS
The aims of the syllabus are:
# to reinforce and extend the learners knowledge of language skills in listening, speaking, or adding and writing so as to enable them
to participate fully and creatively as citizens of Zimbabwe in social, political, economic and community life of the country
# to further develop the learner’s linguistic knowledge and skills to a point of communicating confidently with other English speakers.
# to aid learners advance themselves in the acquisition of vocational skills or in the undertaking of further studies in a wide variety of
disciplines.
# to stimulate and foster the creative writing talent in learners.
# lay a foundation for the lifelong habit of reading extensively for enjoyment and for knowledge’
# to expose learners to the values of their societies, as well as, those of other societies.
TERMLY OBJECTIVES # By the end of the term learners should be able to:-
