Belgium addresses the challenge of insufficient time in implementing the SDGs

by focusing on a multi-stakeholder, multi-level governance approach, and
establishing a National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDS) with a
comprehensive framework and priority themes.

To address its imprecise national plan in achieving the SDGs, Belgium seems to
be focusing on strengthening collaboration, through initiatives like the "SDG
Charter for International Development" and the Interfederal Statistical
Institute (IIS) tracking progress.

To address the limited impact analysis of SDG-related activities, Belgium plans

to enhance policy coordination, promote a holistic approach, and foster
collaboration across various levels of government and stakeholders, including
NGOs and businesses.
