WRITING CHECKLIST

1. Answer the question!


 Have you covered all the points in the task?
 Have you written the right number of words?
 Have you checked the layout? Headings, paragraphs etc.
2. Accuracy
 Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Look particularly
carefully at those errors you know you’re prone to make.
 Cis your handwriting clear and easy to read?
 If you’ve made any corrections, are they easy to decipher?
3. C! Structures
 How many C1 structures have you used?
 Could you include more?
 Have you used a wide variety of connectors within and between
paragraphs?
4. Style
 Check that you have used an appropriate style and that it is
consistent throughout the answer
 Remember your target reader to determine the degree of
formality required
 Make sure that you have not repeated the words in the task
input. Find ways to say the same thing with different wording
