Lovely to see you here! I hope you enjoy making these textured floral afghan squares as much as I enjoy
designing them.

Stylecraft Special DK 100% acrylic. I am stash-busting my collection. You can use any weight yarn for this
pattern ( with corresponding hook size ). Keep in mind that size will vary accordingly.

ROUND 1/ Meadow-Raspberry-Sunshine
Ch4, join ( = ch4 ring ).
Ch3 ( =1dc ) + 2dctog = 1 x 3dctog into ring.
Ch1 ( or 2 ), make 3 x more 3dctog with ch1 ( or 2 ) btw.
= 4 x 3dctog + 4 x ch1 ( or 2 ).
Close with a ss into first chsp.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 2/ Buttermilk-Cream-Cream
Into 4 x ch1 or 2sp’s: 4dc, ch6.
= 4 x 4dc’s ( 16 ) + 4 x ch6sp’s.
Close with a ss into second 1dc.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 3/ Raspberry-Vintage Peach-Raspberry

Into ch1 or 2sp ( rnd 1 ) RIGHT of first 1dc ( rnd 2 ), 1sc, ch6.
2tr into next 3sp’s btw 4dc’s ( rnd 2 ) DO NOT CLOSE.
Work these 3 x 2tr’s together = 1 x 6trtog.
Ch6, 1sc into same ch1 (or 2) sp LEFT of last 1dc ( of 4 ) rnd 2.
Ch1.
Continue sequence: = 8 x ch6sp’s + 4 x 6trtog + 4 x ch1sp’s.
Close with a ss into beg 1sc.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 4A/ Vintage Peach-Toy-Grape

Beg with * 1dcfp over 3dctog ( rnd 1 ).
7tr into next ch6sp, ch2, 7tr into next ch6sp *
Continue sequence * to *: = 4 x * to *.
Close with a ss into top of beg 1dcfp.
Fasten off, work in all ends.

ROUND 4B/ same colours as above.

1scbp around all tr’s ( skip ch2sp ), ch1, 1scbp around 1dcfp, ch1.
= 60scbp’s + 8 x ch1sp’s.

ROUND 5/ Cornish Blue-Duck Egg-Meadow

*Into ch6sp’s ( rnd 2 ):
3dc, ch2, 3dc = first corner
Ch4.
Work from WS to RS through ch2sp rnd 4A: 1trfp over 6trtog ( rnd 3 ).
Ch4*
Continue sequence * to *
= 8 x ch4sp’s + 4trfp’s.
Close with a ss into second 1dc.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 6/ Cornish Blue-Duck Egg-Meadow

Beg *in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 5 ): 3dc, ch2, 3dc = first corner.
Ch2, 2dc into ch4sp, ch2, 2dc into next ch4sp, ch2 *
Continue sequence * to *.
1 Side = 3 x ch2sp’s + 2 x 2dc’s.
1 Corner = 3dc, ch2, 3dc.
Close with ss into second 1dc.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 7/ Buttermilk-Raspberry-Sunshine
Beg *in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 6 ): 3dctog, ch2, 3dctog = first corner.
Ch8, 1dc into second ch2sp ( rnd 6 ), ch4, 1dc into same ch2sp
( = V stitch with a ch4sp btw 2dc’s ), ch8 *
Continue sequence * to *.
1 Side = 2 x ch8sp’s + 1 x 1dc, ch4, 1dc V-stitch.

ROUND 9/ Meadow-Duck Egg-Sunshine/ Indy Round

Beg in ch4sp btw 2dc’s ( rnd 7...the V stitch ).
3trtog, ch2. Do this until = 4 x 3trtog + 3 x ch2sp’s.
Fasten off. Repeat into corresponding V stitches ( rnd 7 ).

ROUND 10/ Vintage Peach-Camel-Grape

Beg * in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 8 ): 3dc, ch2, 3dc = first corner.
Ch2, sk first 1hdc ( rnd 8 ), 1hdc into next 4hdc’s.
4hdc into first ch2sp ( rnd 9 ), 2dc, ch2, 2dc into second ch2sp ( rnd 9 ), 4hdc into third ch2sp ( rnd 9 ).
Sk first 4hdc ( rnd 8 ), 1hdc into last 4hdc, ch2 *
Continue sequence * to *.
1 Side = 16hdc’s + 4dc’s + 1 x ch1sp + 2 x ch2sp’s.
1 Corner = 3dc, ch2, 3dc.

Close with a ss into second 1dc.

ROUND 12/ Raspberry-Meadow-Raspberry

Ch6, 3trtog into next ch2sp before first 3dc’s ( rnd 6 ) * work in front of ch12sp rnd 11 *
Ch6, 1Puff into ch2sp btw 2 x 3dctog ( rnd 7 ), ch6, 3trtog into next ch2sp ( after 3dc’s rnd 6 ), ch6. Remem-
ber to work in front of ch12.
Continue sequence: = 8Puff + 8 x 3trtog + 16 x ch6sp’s

Beg in sp btw 4hdc ( first 4hdc’s made
into first ch2sp rnd 9 ): skip first 2hdc,
into next sp, 3 x 3trtog with a ch2 btw =
3 x 3trtog + 2 x ch2sp’s.
Fasten off, work in ends.
Repeat 7 x more into corresponding sp’s.
= 8 x 3 x trtog ( 24 ) + 16 x ch2sp’s

ROUND 14/ Vintage Peach-Camel-Grape

Beg *in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 10 ): 3dc, ch2, 3dc
= first corner.
Into next ch2sp: 3dc, ch2, 3dc.
Ch12. 1sc into next ch2sp ( WS rnd 10 btw 2 x 2dc ).
Ch12. Into next ch2sp, 3dc, ch2, 3dc*
Continue sequence * to *.
1 Side = 2 x ch12sp’s + 1sc + 2 x 3dc, ch2, 3dc.
1 Corner = 3dc, ch2, 3dc.
Close with a ss into second 1dc.

ROUND 15/ Raspberry-Duck Egg-Raspberry/ Indy Round

Beg in ch2corner sp ( rnd 14 ): 4 x 3trtog with ch2sp’s btw.
Fasten off and work 3 x more into corresponding ch2 corner sp’s.

ROUND 16/ Cornish Blue-Meadow-Meadow

Beg in second ch2 sp btw 2nd and 3rd 3trtog rnd 15: 3dc, ch2, 3dc = first corner.
3dc into next ch2sp ( rnd 15 ).
1Puff ( yo x 4, ch1 to close ) into next ch2sp btw 2 x 3dc.
Work 3dc’s into next 2 x ch2sp’s ( rnd 13 ), you’ll do this by pulling the ch12 ( rnd 14 ) under the ch2sp’s
and working into the ch12 = SIDE A.

Ch1, 1Puff into ch2sp btw next 2 x 2dc ( rnd 11 ), ch1.
Mirror SIDE A.
Repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 3Puffs + 2 x ch1sp’s + 18dc’s.
1 Corner = 3dc, ch2, 3dc.
Close with a ss into second 1dc.
Fasten off, work in ends.

Beg in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 16 ): 2hdc, ch2, 2hdc = first corner.
1hdc into next 5sp’s btw dc’s ( rnd 16 ).
2Puffs into next 1Puff ( I made these y/o x 3, ch1 to close ).
Sk next 1dc, 1hdc into next 5sp’s, 1hdc into next ch1sp
= SIDE A.
Sk Puff, Mirror SIDE A, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 22hdc + 2 x 2Puffs.
1 Corner = 2hdc, ch2, 2hdc.
Close with ss into second 1hdc. Fasten off, work in ends.

Unfortunately stitch definition is not great

when using acrylic yarn in same colours.
Please refer to videos for more detail.

ROUND 18/ Cornish Blue-Meadow-Meadow

Beg in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 17 ): 2hdc, ch2, 2hdc = first corner.
1hdc into next 7sp’s.
2Puff btw next 2Puff.
1hdc into next sp, then 1hdc into next 12sp’s ( =13hdc ).
2Puff btw next 2Puff.
1hdc into next 7sp’s, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 27hdc’s + 2 x 2Puff.
1 Corner = 2hdc, ch2, 2hdc.
Close with a ss into second hdc. Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 19/ Raspberry ( all 3 colourways ).

Beg in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 18 ): 1Puff ( y/o x 4, ch1 to close )
= first corner.
Ch2, sk first 2hdc’s ( rnd 18 ), 1hdcfp over next 31st.
Ch2, sk next 2hdc’s, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 31hdcfp’s + 2 x ch2sp’s.
1 Corner = 1Puff ( y/o x 4, ch1 to close ).
Close with a ss into beg Puff.
Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 20/ Raspberry

Beg with 1Puff, ch2, 1Puff into corner Puff ( rnd 19 )
= first corner.
Ch2. Turn work to WS and locate back loops of previous hdfp’s.
Beg after first loop ( working into rnd 18 but btw back loops ):
1hdc into all sp’s btw those back loops = 30hdc’s.
Ch2, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 30hdc’s + 2 x ch2sp’s. 1 Corner = 1Puff, ch2, 1Puff.
Close with a ss into top of beg Puff.
Fasten off, work in ends.

Sk first 1hdc ( rnd 20 ), 1dc, ch2, sk 2 “posts”, repeat and continue sequence = 15dc’s + 14 x ch2sp’s.
Ch2, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 15dc’s + 16 x ch2sp’s.
1 Corner = 1Puff, ch1, 1dc, ch2, 1dc, ch1, 1Puff.
Close with a ss into beg Puff. Fasten off, work in ends.

ROUND 23/ Raspberry
Beg with 1Puff into first corner Puff ( rnd 21 ).
Ch2, into next ch2 corner sp, 1dc, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 1Puff into next Puff = first corner.
Ch2, 1dcfp over first 1dc ( rnd 21 ). 1sc into Popcorn, ch1, 1dcfp over next 1dc, 1sc into Popcorn, ch1,
1dcfp over next 1dc….and so on. Ch2, repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 15dcfp’s + 14sc’s + 13 x ch1sp’s + 2 x ch2sp’s. 1 Corner = 1Puff, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 1Puff.
Close with a ss into beg Puff. Fasten off, work in all ends.
ROUND 24/ Cornish Blue-Duck Egg-Meadow
Insert hook as shown, pull ch6 ( rnd 11 ) forward under ch2 corner sp ( rnd 10 )
Ch12, loop chain over and btw 2nd and 3rd 3trtog ( rnd 15 ).
Fasten on WS.
