The Blush Bloom Summer Top
by @craftyourway
Hey! I created this cute summer top in size S–M (approx.). This pattern is written
specifically for this size, but you can adjust it as needed. It features classic bikini-style
cups with a beautiful mesh pattern at the bottom, giving it an airy and delicate look. I
hope you enjoy making it as much as I did!

Happy crocheting! ☀️🧶
Materials I used:
• 50% cotton, 50% acrylic
yarn (blush pink)
• 5.0 mm crochet hook
• Stitch marker
• Darning needle
• Scissors
Cup 2x
Start: Ch 20 (or any even
number, depending on your
desired cup size).
R1: Sc into the 2nd stitch from the hook and sc all the way down.
R2–♾️: Ch 1, turn. Sc up one side, make 3 sc into the top stitch (use a stitch marker to
always mark the top stitch), then sc down the other side.
Repeat until the cups reach your desired size.
End: Secure yarn and cut off.
Backstrap
Start: Ch 100, attach Cup 1 with sc, then attach Cup 2 with sc, then ch 101.
Turn, sc into the 2nd stitch from the hook, and sc all the way back along the chain.
End: Secure yarn and cut off.
Mesh Panel
Hold the top against your body to decide where you want the mesh section to start.
Attach yarn at the desired point on the backstrap, ch 3, and work 3 dc into the same
stitch. Skip 5 stitches, into the 6th stitch: Work 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc. Repeat this pattern
across until you reach the other side, ensuring both ends have the same amount of
mesh overhang.
End of each Row: Once you reach the last stitch, work only 3 dc into the last stitch, then
ch 3 and turn.
Next Rows: Work 3 dc into the first ch-space from the previous row. Skip 5 stitches, into
the ch-2 space from the row below: Work 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc. Repeat until the end.
Continue this pattern until you reach your desired length.
End: Secure yarn and cut off.
Halter Straps + border
To complete the top, attach yarn where the mesh panel begins and work single crochets
all the way around the top for a clean edge. Start by crocheting across the backstrap,
then work your way up Cup 1. Once you reach the top of the cup, ch 70 (or your desired
halter strap length), then sc back down the chain. Continue crocheting down Cup 1,
then up Cup 2. At the top of the second cup, ch 70 for the second halter strap, sc back
down, and crochet down Cup 2. Finish by working single crochet evenly along the
backstrap to the end of the mesh panel, ensuring that the edges are neat.
End: Secure yarn and cut off.
Last steps
Weave in all ends and block or steam your top to shape and set the stitches.
Notes & Adjustments:
• You can adjust the string sizes by adding or removing chains.
• You can make the cups bigger by adding more rows.
Disclaimer: If you modify the size, the stitch counts in the pattern may no longer
match, so you might need to adjust other parts accordingly.
