Dear Cap Edgar,
Warm greetings of service and commitment to education!
We are writing to earnestly request the assistance of the Barangay Local Government Unit of
Kisante regarding the demolition of an old and dilapidated radio tower located within the
premises of Kisante Central Elementary School in Barangay Kisante, Makilala, North
Cotabato.
The said tower, which has long ceased operations and is no longer in use, has significantly
deteriorated over time. Due to its aging structure and visible signs of rust, corrosion and
instability, it poses an alarming threat to the safety of our learners, teachers, and school
personnel most especially during the rainy and windy seasons, when the structure sways
and emits disturbing noises. These occurrences instill fear and anxiety among learners and
hinder a conducive learning environment.
Given the increasing frequency of strong weather disturbances, the continued presence of
the tower inside the school compound has become a potential hazard, raising concern over
the structural integrity and the risk of collapse. As the safety and protection of our learners
remain a top priority, we deem it urgent and necessary to have the structure professionally
dismantled and safely removed as soon as possible.
We humbly seek your office’s support and intervention by facilitating the proper inspection
and, if deemed appropriate, the safe demolition of this abandoned structure in coordination
with relevant engineering and safely authorities.
Rest assured, the school administration is ready to extend full cooperation and assistance
should a technical team be deployed to assess the site. We believe that through your
proactive leadership and compassion for the welfare of our young learners, this urgent
concern can be addressed promptly.
